Melanie was unprofessional with me and my husband instead of showing concern about a situation. When I called to tell her that she was uncaring and I was going to speak with a manager, she said: whatever!!! Then, hung up in my FACE.I’m not her little boyfriend or her kid…When I called back to announce that she hung up in my face, and I was going to report it She said that’s fine with her!!!!!!She said she’s the manager. I guess I better stick to Hobby lobby and Michael’s More professionalism. I’m new to Joann’s.No more.

I come here for fabrics. In regards to perlers or something to do with hobbies they have a very limited selection. I still love this place.

Came in looking for wet floral foam. I had asked an older woman for some help. I couldn't see her name tag her hair was in the way. Something like Loraine. She was nasty and had a bad attitude. She seemed very annoyed with me asking for help. The manager however was very nice and had no problems answering my questions.

Terrible customer service, and they were out of almost everything. You’re better off buying it online or going through a completely different company. I would definitely go to Hobby lobby or Michael’s instead of going here ever again.

There’s a gentleman name Mark very rude. I was in an aisle and the walked really fast and push me and never said excuse me. Not very professional. I have always shopped there .

This is one of their larger stores so they have more fabric and other craft items that the smaller stores don't. The staff is very friendly also

I guess I set the bar too high. I assumed incorrectly that Joanne's was equivalent to Michael's. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I think I'll stick with Michael's. The woman in the checkout had to rescan my items repeatedly. After she finished scanning the entire order, she took everything back out of the bags and did it again, and then repeated the process yet again. There was no explanation, even though I asked for one. She went through this process about four or five times. While I was checking out I asked a question about one of the products I was purchasing. She said she didn't know so, I asked if there was someone she could ask. She said "no we just work here" I responded that it was somewhat of an expectation to be able to ask questions about the products they sell and I mentioned that if I asked a question in Michael's they will at least try to see who might know. Her response was good for you. I finally asked if she could check with her manager who was thankfully able to answer my question, but overall just a poor experience.

This location is always clean and there’s always someone available to answer any questions you may have. Expect a small wait when needing a piece of fabric cut to size.

The quality of service here has gone down. As a black woman I have been coming here for years. The staff has changed and the racism has increased. They don’t do good discounts anymore!1. The two older white ladies always follow me around the store now. The blonde and the brunette with short hair.2. The little Hispanic girl at the register just threw my feathers in a bag with dye and needles. She asked me did I want a bag? Of course I will want a bag I bought a lot of things. Did you think I just wanted to carry it in my hands.None of the staff is knowledgeable about anything dealing with sewing or arts, and craft so when i ask for help they give me such poor responses.What happened to the older black lady? She was nice and treated everyone with respect. I have had 3 bad experiences back to back at this store and I don’t think mockingbird will have me back again. I literally feel unwanted every-time I walk in now.I will take my business to Preston road!

The store is fairly small and items seem to be haphazardly located within the store. Flower/plant items in the front, seasonal in the middle and fabric is just kind of wherever they need it? If you're looking for something specific just ask the employees, it looks like they're constant changing the store. Deals are also super important, make sure to check online for any of em!

Mixed feelings… just went for a very specific item. I was sure to search it on the app and ensure they had lots on stock before I went. When I went me and one of the very nice employees searched for a while. We couldn’t find it so I got something similar but it was a lot more expensive than what I came for. She girl who helped me look told me there was a 40% coupon up front. It was still more expensive but i was fine with that! So I went up to checkout and the cashier Laurie was okay - she let me use multiple coupons and I got the 40% off (I had to donate at least $1 which was not ideal, but fine) and she was just kind of rude and condescending saying things like “well the app isn’t always accurate” and when I proceeded to say it said there were at least 17 yards she said it wouldn’t update yet if someone bought it today… yeah I highly doubt that. I just felt inconvenienced and like she could have been a little more understanding. Just be more kind, I hadn’t been rude to anyone at all!

It is hard to find assistance on the sales floor, but it is a great location with ample parking snd a nice selection, so I choose to be patient
