I took my 2007 Lincoln Mark Lt in to Inspection Express on Cedar Ridge in Duncanville because my check engine light was on and it would make a clattering sound after being driven about 10 miles. The mechanic diagnosed the problem as being a bad coil pak and plugs. He supposedly replaced all and charged me $575. I paid and drove off. After about 10 miles my truck started doing the same thing. I took the truck back 2 more times for the same problem and they said they replaced sensors each time. The results were the same. Finally he told me he thought it was the Timing Chain and they couldn't fix it. I requested a refund or at least a partial and was denied. After paying them $575 dollars for 0 results I left feeling swindled. I also got an inspection early on and the mechanic insisted that I needed wiper blades when I know I did not. This was truly a bad experience with in my opinion, incompetent mechanics. Please do not take your vehicle there. I later found out that I through a rod. My engine is being rebuilt now.

Super fast, courteous, service. I had my vehicle inspected here and they were super fast. I drove up and the gentleman came out right away to assist me. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

I've brought my vehicle here for a state inspection last year & this year. It was even more of an amazing, super quick process this year. The gentleman started the process while I was retrieving my liability card from my phone. It took less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

I got my vehicle inspection done here for the second year in a row. Each time, it was super fast and the service was exceptional! It felt kinda like a family business environment, where people genuinely care about their customers... or at least they made a genuine effort to chat with me a little, so it didn't feel strictly transactional. The owner(?) was so kind. I didn't get his name, but he was an older gentleman with salt-and-pepper hair. He smiled with me, joked with me, and made me feel at ease. He even surprised me by giving me a bunch of lollipops for the kids in my life, and I really enjoyed that personal touch. ❤️Plus, he saved me a lot of money! I had gone to Kwik Kar before coming here (only because it was closer to my home) and they wanted me to pay almost $500 for non-safety repairs before I could get the inspection... and I had gotten confirmation from at least 2 other mechanics in the past that the repairs were not safety-related. The guy there (at Kwik Kar) wasn't rude, but his tone felt a little bit condescending at some points during the conversation. His exact words were, "I will not pass you." I understand they have rules and regulations to follow, but it came off like these rules and regulations were from HIM rather from the state. It kinda felt like a power-type move and it rubbed me the wrong way, so I took their estimate and left. However, my experience at Inspection Express Lube was completely opposite and absolutely ZERO HASSLE! I'll keep coming back here as long as I'm in Dallas. Highly recommend! Thanks, guys! You are truly a gem! :D!!!
