Anyone who appreciates one-of-a-kind home consignment pieces, ranging from faucets and doorknobs to doors and chandeliers, among many other things, would absolutely love this shop/warehouse. I have purchased quite a few pieces here over the years, and they have all elevated my home to a museum-like level, all at a fraction of the price I would have paid for them new. The staff is really friendly and very helpful. It's such a treat visiting this treasure trove of fine items.”

“I wanted to give a BIG shoutout to Carlton specifically in the Lawn & Garden department. A little back story... We had found a shed online that we were really interested in and if you purchased in store it was actually a clearance item. Of course we wanted to get it in store because we would save over $550! We first looked online in our area at two of our nearby home depots. One in Waxahachie had listed that they had 3 in their inventory so my husband made a trip there. First off he said it took forever to find someone to just help him and when he did they were really no help at all. They couldn't locate the sheds listed in their inventory and did no help referring him to another location or even a different product. They basically told him they don't have them. I went to the lancaster home depot because their store said they had 4 available in store. After asking an employee for assistance they referred me to someone else in the back who informed us that there inventory is never wrong. If it says they got it, they got it. She was very helpful but then passed us on to another lady in the garden area who basically said, if you don't see it we don't have it regardless of what their inventory says. No help as to where or why they were not in store. Just oh well. No sorry for the inconvenience, no manager, no nothing. Needless to say we were both upset with the lack of effort on the staff at both Home Depot locations.
A couple weeks later i decided to give it one last go because this shed was ultimately going to be a Father's Day gift to my husband. I called the Wheatland store and put in the sku# over the phone to which they said they had 3 in store. Great! So i asked for an associate and explained what had happened at the previous store and if she could please just go check before i drive out. She did and said they had 1 left. I said great id be there to get it.
When I arrived i went to the counter to ask about the call and who could help me. The lady at the front counter said Carlton over by the mowers and lawn care. I went over there and there was a line of people waiting for this poor man. It was a Thursday and you could tell he was swamped. There was absolutely no one else in that department to help out so I just waited. After about 15 min he was able to help me. I explained the situation and that I had already been out in the garden section and didn't see it. We walked out there together to which we found a box with the SKU# on it but it was placed on the wrong box. SO again, not one single shed that was listed in inventory was actually in the store. You can imagine my frustration at this point.
Carlton just said let me see what's going on and what we can do. After calling for back up from his manager they both realized the inventory was wrong and they just did not have them. To help make it right they were able to offer me another shed with a small discount off it for the trouble. Carlton probably spent 20-30 minutes with me trying to help me leave there with something similar to what I came for. Every other employee had acted like we were an inconvenience when it is literally there job to assist customers. I am so thankful to this staff member for essentially going above and beyond which is what you would expect an employee to do but its just not like that anymore. Nobody seems to want to help you anymore. I came in ready to buy and he made sure I had something to buy even if it wasn't the exact model. I even spent more money than i had planned to but left a happy customer because Carlton helped me find what i need and my husband got a shed for father's day! I will definitely be back when it's time to get a mower to put in that shed! Truly, Thank you Carlton for treating my like a human and doing all you could on your end. It did not go unnoticed!”

“I like to go to this habitat for humanity resale shop because they always have different things and I normally find a couple of things to fix my house or make it prettier and come out spending a lot less, a lot less than I would at a big stores.
The staff at the store always really friendly. They go out of their way to help me find what I need or take my stuff to the car.”

They had everything in stock that I needed and the employees were all helpful and friendly. I live in Alabama and this store is almost worth driving all the way to Texas to patronize.”
“I have shared this before. Lowe's is slightly more expensive than Home Depot on about 20% of the products but the quality is what draws me in. The difference is worth the time and effort to do things only once. All veterans are welcomed with a discount and others have followed but Lowes was first and even added a parking spot. I won't go anywhere else. I stopped looking.”

6000 Skillman St, Dallas“Just had the most amazing experience in the garden department with Gerald and I believe the manager of that department. Dealing with an apartment complex unwilling to cut grass that is up to my chest. The animals are forced to walk on hot pavement to find a field half a mile away to go potty. Nothing is being done so while code compliance takes their time I needed to remedy the situation and got the help I needed by these 2 gentlemen . They also gave me a discount just due to my situation. If ten stars were possible I would have given it

“I when there on Friday at 6 pm to order a big order of shingle at the costumer service deck and a young lady was helping me with the order, she was very helpful until it comes to the delivery in the following Monday, she almost lost the sale due to the big window time frame. She even ask the coach leader cashier about the delivery and they keep say that was the best they can do for me, THEN Maria the assistance manger show up and save the day she even set the delivery for Sunday instead of Monday, and she use all her resources to give me a better deal on the 8k sale. MARIA IS THE BEST.”
