Carrie was amazingly helpful! She realized that the spiderweb of long thin black lines on our white car weren’t crackles in the paint at all. Another body shop had estimated a many-thousands of dollars repair. Carrie got it all washed off with solvent and didn’t charge me anything! She was so nice and super knowledgeable! Thank you, Carrie!!

This was our second time using Hance's Uptown Collision and it was a fantastic experience both times with our advisor Carrie. I read reviews for a competing auto body shop that said their communication was awful and that it took 2 months to get their car back, but that was not the case here. Carrie kept us updated the whole way through, informing us about insurance issues and delays which really helped manage our expectations. The work was great and we will definitely use again!

A mixed review here: I went to get an estimate for a 2004 Porsche 911, they were very busy and couldn't do an estimate right away, and then told me anyway they do not work on older cars. All communication was nice and professional, just probably more a place to take your brand new car on an insurance claim than a high end body shop.

Great repair experience!
Let’s be honest having to get any car work sucks to have to deal with, but Hance’s Uptown makes it as painless as possible. Everyone from Carrie to Jimmy and all the folks behind the scenes are very friendly and professional. Our advisor Jimmy kept me updated at least 2x per week while my car was having work done. And the final product looks factory brand new. Great job and thanks for making a super repair experience!

Recently, my Tesla Model Y was hit by a large Chevy truck, causing significant damage to the rear quarter panel. Given how overwhelmed Tesla was with repairs, they recommended Hance’s Uptown Collision Center, a Certified Tesla Repair shop, and I’m so glad they did.
From start to finish, the entire experience with Hance’s was excellent. Their customer service stands head and shoulders above any other shop I’ve ever worked with. My assigned service writer, Marisela, was particularly outstanding. She kept me updated every step of the way, providing detailed information and photographs throughout the repair process.
The work was completed a full week earlier than promised, and the quality of the repair is exceptional. Every aspect of this experience was vastly different—and far better—than what I’ve encountered in similar situations in the past.
I highly recommend Hance’s Uptown Collision Center. If you’re looking for a repair shop that combines top-notch craftsmanship with exceptional customer service, this is the place to go. I would absolutely return to Hance’s if the need ever arises again.

I just wrapped up a hail claim on my Tesla with Hance’s Uptown Collision Center. First and foremost the communication from Jimmy was really good. Kept me in the loop the whole time. Claims process was smooth. Where they dropped the ball was the last few days they had my car. I got confirmation from Marisela on 08/01 that my vehicle would be ready for pickup 08/02 and she would let me know a time to pickup. Called them mid day 08/02 after not being able to get ahold of Marisela. I was told my car was in QC and they would have Marisela call me with a pickup time before they closed. No call or text the whole rest of the day. My wife lost a day of work waiting around to give me a ride to pick up my car. Again call in 08/05 and same thing, my car is in QC again the whole day. Finally get confirmation around 3:30pm that I’m able to pick up the car. Upon receiving the car I quickly noticed the back taillights weren’t installed properly, there was still small amounts of wax residue around the car. Then I saw they had removed tint from my quarter window, failed to let me know and also failed to get it replaced. Jimmy did offer to have it replaced but that required me to leave the car with them again and come back the next day probably end of day to pick it up again. Although they offered a solution it was just an inconvenience for me because I live about an hour away from the shop and my wife had now taken 2 days off to help me come pick up the car and we had already driven to their shop, leaving me with no option but to have this done myself on my own time. I guess the cherry on top for me is that I also found one of my old parts rattling around in the backseat. So for me it was very subpar that my vehicle sat in “QC” for 2 days but all of these little things were still missed. Other than that the rest of the work on the car regarding the hail damage was great and I’m happy with it otherwise.

Even though dealing with Tesla’s specific requirements can be challenging, Hance’s went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend their services!

Best customer service I’ve ever received ANYWHERE!!! They over-communicate, which is much appreciated (and rare these days). Not once was I left wondering about the status of my repairs. Marisela was especially kind and thorough! If I had a business she is who I would want all my customer-facing staff to be like. I can’t say enough about their service. Oh, the repairs were impeccable too! Tesla is lucky to have this business as a certified body shop.

I highly recommend Hance’s Uptown Collision Center. Quality work at reasonable prices. Everyone there was a joy to work with and they truly care about doing a good job. We’ve brought multiple vehicles into their shop and have been completely satisfied!
