Visited Dallas over the weekend and discovered the design district. This area should be a must go-to for all designers of every type. Several shops along the way are most inspiring and could take away someone's afternoon. Myself, a graphic designer by trade loves antique stores. We came across the Griffin Trading Company and was greeted by Steven, who is the store manager. He was full of excitement and enthusiasm while talking about his collections. I felt our small group had a connection with him. In store, there are many advertising collections from 3D dimensional items hanging from the ceiling or rafters to 2D items hanging on the wall. All in perfect or very clean condition. Had so much fun spending an hour getting to know Steven and hearing what his inventory is all about. Would love to own one of his Hannah Barbera pieces one day. If the price is right, I may have to drive a truck out to pick them up. Griffin Trading Company has a website and an Instagram account to get an eyeful of their inventory. You should go look them up. I found this exquisite 3D signage that looked to be in decent condition and was ready for updating. "Ink" in bold black and white san serif lettering with some hint of LED wiring left over. I can easily spruce this piece up and bring it back to life. Most likely will hang it in my office. Perfect for display purposes and jazz up my place a bit. This place is great for bargain hunters too. Best to bring cash but they will accept credit cards. I

Absolutely LOVED this place. Came to the design district for some of the antique malls across the street and so happy I wandered into this store. Wish I had taken more photos to share, the staging of it all was incredible and the owners were really nice to chat with. A must visit if you enjoy searching for vintage items.

We just happened onto this place while trying to hit downtown furniture stores. What a find! We found 2 pieces of art that became the inspiration pieces for their rooms. Steve was very knowledgeable and helpful in our quest. And such a fun store to explore. Definitely check it out!

Stephen was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient while working with us to find the perfect art piece for our home. Many times he situated the paintings in just the right lighting within the store to reveal all the beautiful layered colors in each piece that we were considering. His selection of original art was incredible, especially by Austin Allen James. So refreshing to deal directly with the owners of a business. We are very happy with our purchase and I know we will enjoy it for years to come.

Visited Griffin Trading on Friday with a girlfriend as we were exploring Dallas Design District. What a fun place! Stephen the owner was delightful and great on spending time with us going over stories on different pieces. The place just made me laugh because of the eclectic collection and the whimsical display of the items. Great place!

I make it a point to always check out Griffin Trading when I travel to Dallas. They have unique art, furnishings, and accessories of all styles. The owners Kathleen and Steve are upbeat, extremely knowledgeable and helpful---a true pleasure to do business with. They always take the time to be sure I get exactly the right items for my projects.

If you're looking for that 'perfect' piece, you'll find it at Griffin Trading. The selection is outstanding, and the service level is simply outstanding. Feel free to ask about any piece, and you'll hear a magnificent story. In addition to the art, they have the coolest furniture and lots of interesting artifacts, signage and specialty pieces. Plus, if you're a designer you'll find great pieces for large spaces, i.e. hotels and corporate venues.
