Dude is so rude. Was so unfriendly. I'm new to fishing and needed a little basic advice with bass. He had quick unhelpful responses. He was very dismissive. Maybe he doesn't know anything about fishing. He was never trying to truly help. Was talking to me like I'm stupid. Just a grumpy old man. Don't bother shopping at this local store. Let Walmart or Academy take your money because this place is a waste of time.

Been in a couple of times. Great little store with a good selection of products that are hard to find anywhere else.
However you need to know exactly what you're coming in for.
The customer service is atrocious, the older gentleman posted here is very curt and you almost have to pry advice out of him to the point you don't want to ask anything at all.
Overall though if you know what you want this is a great place to get it from.

This is a total scam website. Ordered product. Received no email of order, no response to emails, never received product, took cc info and $ charged and next I know my cc was scammed and sold and $700+ spent on it before I could close it out. To date no response, no product received. Total scam

Love this place. Small but big enough to have what you're looking for that other places don't and don't charge extra for being better - they just are. Friendly staff and great service.

I was in the store for the first time this morning.....great store, well stocked, great equipment. Don't look for fly fishing equipment because there is none.....what a shame. But the worst part of my visit was the older mustached gentleman who was almost unfriendly and acted like my friend (who just spent a thousand dollars there a month ago) and I were an annoyance for being there. My friend related to me hat this was his experience on his last $1,000 spending trip to that store.... My friend and I both live in Dallas, but we will never spend another dime in a store where the help is in deferent to the customer...... To the owner; you could learn from the Sewell stores about customer service and customer interaction.
