I had an item in pawn at this location and tried to repurchase in layaway due to a hardship event, after it was forfeited. The shop refused to allow me to place it on layaway even though it was already in their sales inventory. I didn’t even asked for any special treatment and was willing to pay for the item at the fair market value the store had it price for. I contacted the customer service line and was told a district manager would call me within 24 to 48 hours which he didn’t until I went to call the call center again and was told that a district manager had contacted me but they couldn’t provide a time when that call took place, so they put the request again. When the district manager contacted me he refused to provide his full name and was only given a name first name by Sam he stated his last name was not important. After speaking to him and expressing my concerns he refused to allow me recover my forfeited item through layaway, even though it was already in their sales inventory. Instead of offering a layaway option, he told me he could only sell me another similar or a different item, but the item I originally wanted to put in layway was out of the question. He mentioned to me that I was a good customer and that this situation would not jeopardize my future pawn experience, but that did not address the issue of trying to recover the actual item in question. The way the situation was handled made me feel like I was being targeted and singled out, the manager even stated that his employees knew who I was and had been instructed not to allow me to put the forfeit item on layaway, even if it was out on the sales floor. I don’t know anyone at this store to say that I have a conflict of interest I just merely wanted to recover an item through a layway option.
He stated that it was a “contract law,” “internal law,” and “policy law” that prevented me from putting the item on layaway, which I questioned where I could find that information but he went to say that there really was none where to find that information. As a consumer I was just asking for clarification on the restriction he was mentioning and a solution to recover an item on Layway.
I felt like I was treated unfairly, despite being a returning customer not just for pawn business but also for purchasing business. I currently am purchasing an expensive item on layaway at the moment and most of my purchases are large sum, which shows that I am a responsible customer and have been doing business with this company for many years.
I would not recommend this pawn shop to anyone looking for their pawn shop business buying or pawing due to the lack of fair treatment and their lack of customer service by upper management. The unwillingness to help a returning customer was extremely disappointing. I will be doing my last business at this location and will seek other pawn services elsewhere.

Stay away from this place I had pawn and had things missing from my items that was taken out and sold when I picked items up and guy said he looked at camera and customers had taken items from by back pack cause they were about to be dropped but I paid to get my stuff and items missing and his excuse is he saw camera and that they were just few items missing just about a hand full I found 1 item a nail gun on the shelf for sale was able to get that but other items not able will never go to this place again they are crooks

The women behind the counter were arguing before acknowledging me and were very rude. They didn't look me in the face. Just be polite, it's not hard.

They tried switching my gold chain when I asked how much they bought it from me for and gave me a different one. I wear it everyday and I knew it wasn't mine when we got the supervisor involved he gave me my chain back but acted like that was the one they gave me in the first place please guys stay away from here!
They tried to change my chain when I asked them how much they cared about my race with these people. What is it going to be one person against 3 workers who are all well trained to protect themselves? Please, if they try to do this to you, don't think about it, call the police and have them check them in front of you, thank you very much and good luck.

The workers are NOT honest, they wanted to exchange my chain for one of less value, I do NOT recommend this place and if you go, don't take your eyes off their things.

It would be lower but it doesn't let me. Don't buy anything from these guys. I had a layaway that I needed to cancel and they kept all of the money. Who does a 33 percent restocking fee? I was a customer of this company since 95, but no more. I'm going to only deal with their competitors for now on even though it's not as convenient for me.

If you don't mind getting ripped off come here . I tried selling a speaker for about 100 , which I paid 260 at Best Buy . And they tell me they have them at Amazon and Walmart for 110 . In which they were different damn speakers . Don't waste your time

I do not recommend this place, the people who work there are not honest in evaluating the jewelry, they lie to make a profit and they also damaged my bracelet to see how many carats it is, I understand that they have to grate it a little to do the test but this person will charge you. hand and damaged it too much that now you can see where I scratched it, Thank you for being honest.
