Store is really run down. Escalators aren't working, the carpet is frayed, paint is chipped, faded, and stained. The clothing selection is decent. My wife and daughters found dresses they liked. Service was good, cashier was friendly. Store is just in need of a refresh.

Oh, I have been shopping at this Macy's for probably the better part of seven years. And the decline of this location is just sad and been awful. The men's section is so hot forget trying on a suit you're just gonna get frustrated that you're sweating like a pig and leave. Not to mention looking people dead in the eye, who basically refused to help you definitely will not be back I'm sad to say.

So I am a lover and fan of Macys. There is no city I can go to with a Macys that I don't visit. Sooo we're on vacation and go to the Galleria Mall. Of course we're going to Macys. I have to say though I've never been so underwhelmed. The store is clean, well organized, customer service was ok I guess. But the selection of product was not great. The shoe department was small and lacked variety. The various women depts were.....not impressive. My husband however did like the mens dept and purchased several items. There is a Macys backstage here. Again I've seen better selection and in this case organization.

The service was awful. We asked for shoes and they were to busy being on their phone. The whole time, the workers were all in a circle talking to each other and didn’t even ask once if everything was going alright.

I recent purchased two items, a coffee table and side table. Prior to it being shipped, I called attempting to cancel the order, but was told I called beyond the 30 minute window to cancel the order. As such, all I needed to do was not accept the order when it is delivered. However, I was never provided with an opportunity to accept or not accept the items. Instead, it was left at my front door step. This is inconsistent with what Macy's instructed. I had to call Macy's back attempting to return the item. I was told the items would be picked up by UPS and I would be contacted prior to arrival. I was never contacted prior to the pick up. Once again, this is inconsistent with what Macy's instructed. Once the items left my home, I closed the door assuming the items were taken away. Instead, one of the items (the coffee table) was left at my front door while the side table was taken. It seems like the smaller and lighter item was taken and the heavier one was left and I wasn't told the item was left until I opened the door again. This is the third time the process was inconsistent with what was instructed by Macy's. I had to call Macy's and was put on hold on and off for 32 minutes in an effort to return the remaining item. I asked for a supervisor was was told no supervisors were available. The representative, while attempting to be helpful, consistently spoke over me and would never (and I emphasize never) let me finish a single sentence. The process was horrific and a true demonstration of what not to do for customer service. Once again, I have been told that the item will be picked up and that I would be called prior to the pick up occurs. Let's see if this happens. I have my doubts and fully anticipate that what the representative told me will be a fourth occurrence of inconsistent instructions provided by Macy's. Macy's needs to do much better training staff on how to speak to customers. As it stands, I would never order from Macy's again and will recommend people I know to not buy from Macy's either.

We went in to buy a suit for our teenage son for a school event in a couple of week. He is at an age when his size is between youth and men's. The sales associate worked hard to find a jacket and pants that fit him, which we really appreciated. But they didn't have the right color, so he offered to order the suit and have it shipped to our house. He promised even with regular shipping it would get here in a week, so we would have time for alterations before the school event. We paid for it in the store and went home. When we got home, we received an order confirmation email from Macy's which says the suit would take two weeks to arrive. That would leave us no time for the necessary alterations before the occasion and the whole purchase would be pointless! And this was not an inexpensive purchase by any means. So we immediately called Macy's customer service to expedite the shipping. They were less than helpful. They said it was too late to change the shipping method on our order or to even cancel it. On top of that, the customer service team is obviously offshore and the calls dropped several times. And they made no attempt to call us back whenever it dropped. We had to call them back three times and explained the situation over and over to different representatives. Finally one of them agreed to place a new order for us for the same suit and ship it express. Let's hope it arrives in time! And we will still have to deal with the hassle of returning the original order. I know Macy's is a brick and mortar store, so they don't operate with the same level of efficiency as Amazon. But in this day and age, it is ridiculous to take two weeks to ship a piece of garment yet refusing to change the shipping method within 3 hours of the order. If Macy's wants to survive in the market, they'd better shape up their supply chain and customer service. The service we have just experienced is simply unacceptable! Next time we are going to Men's Warehouse, even if they have a smaller selection in the store.

Bought a cool Calvin Klein jacket that was marked down a ton the day before I was supposed to leave Dallas. When packing my bag the next morning, I noticed the employee left the security tag on my jacket. Macy's doesn't open until 11, so my plans on getting out of Dallas that day were completely screwed up.

Was shopping for some sneakers for a present and not once were we checked on or even greeted by any of the three employees huddled around the checkout counter. The manager (or at least I think so) finally said hello and asked if help was needed and when we turned around to respond,he walked right past us to another customer who was looking to checkout. We promptly left.

Every single time I've ever walked in here there are always creepy employees staring at you. As soon as you walk in they all follow you around and blatantly stare at you like a hawk. Every 2 seconds they'll come and ask you if you need help or if you're doing ok. Like yes I will give you the same exact answer as the other 3 employees who have come up to me and asked me in the past 10 minutes.Learn to leave customers alone and stop staring it's creepy and your employees are not social distancing by coming up to my face every other 5 minutes asking me things

Wow. Tried on a dress earlier today. Called the store a few hours later to see about purchasing it and having it shipped. I was on hold three times for ten minutes each time trying to talk to someone about it. Never got a human and got disconnected after ten minutes. Wow. Terrible non-customer service.

This is mostly about the very kind ladies that helped me. Their names are Kendra and Melody and they work in the jewelry department. I bought a braided necklace less than five months ago from Macy's to hold my very precious pendant that includes all three of my sons names, one of which passed away a year and a half ago. I searched for the right necklace and finally decided to purchase one from Macy's. I was thinking that the quality would be great and I just wanted to make sure I didn't lose my Pendant. Part of the braiding came undone and the little pieces were scratching me and I brought it back to Macy's to see if they could fix it. I was told that they only would do anything about it within a 30 day period, unless I had bought an extended warranty. I did not remember being offered that, but in any case I didn't have it. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't do something about it since it was less than five months since I had purchased it. I felt like it should not have broken. Ultimately these ladies were very kind and caring and replaced my necklace. Although I don't agree with Macy's policy, I'm really happy that they have such great employees that look beyond the product to the person and the situation. Thank you again, so very much Kendra and Melody. Your kindness really made a difference in my day and I hope that you are blessed.

I am very disappointed and shocked at macys. I ordered some UGG shoes on line. I was so excited they finally had my size. when I got my order they send me 2 different pair of shoes. I was so mad and disappointed and angry all at once. how can someone send 2 different pair of shoes to their customer. don't they open the box and look to make sure its the correct order. then I of course take it to macys in gallaria for a refund and ask for corporate number. the employee there had the nerve to tell me I don't know look it up on line. really WOW. what a customer service.

Massive store and with an over the roof stock and selection of goods. Unfortunately the bathrooms seem like they belong to another store! They are not taken care of well. They're dirty. The intended purpose is appreciated but keeping them clean seem to be a problem.

Advertised a product in stock online, I ordered and went to pick it up in store. Arrive and they state that their inventory is off and don't have any left, refer me to Northpark and extra 50 min round trip. Not apologetic at all, no discount offered for the extra hour of my time driving even though I went to the trouble of confirming that they were supposed to be "in-stock" at this location.

Great shopping!!! Rozie helped me checkout today, she really knows her job and made sure I received the best deals and experience while shopping. This Macy's has a coffee and sushi bar. It is 3 levels. Would reccomend.
