This is actually a no star. I purchased a Styrofoam cooler on 6/19 it drops In the store I pay it no mind as I'm trying to get away from the street people they allow at the entrance. My items drop I continue to go, not realizing that the cooler was damaged I attempted to bring it back 1)20 mind you I live on the other side of town she says it looks used.. Mary I didn't use it, it was broken as I dropped it in the store, she's going back and forth with me I front of customers and not being professional, she tells me she is going to review the camera and comes back with a trimmed video not showing the man that stands outside, inside trying of the store to help people with their belongings which is uncomfortable and probably the reason it dropped. She then says she wants be able to refund. She definitely is disrespectful as a store manager, he display of leadership is horrible, as I to am a manager. I know the saying is customers are always right, sometimes they are . Mary and her lack of unprofessional was definitely not right going back and forth shows she needs customer service skills.i told her I was going to call corporate she says she doesn't care , this is a prime example of abuse of authority. She could have easily did an even exchange. I bought this to be used being that I didn't I don't need it. This was a lady minute pick up and cost me a headache cause Mary and her rudeness cause attention

Mary the new Manager told me employees were lazy and didn’t do there job , I was only buying coffee she seemed high on drugs , she precedes to tell Travis Mayes is lazy and doesn’t do his job! She stated this in front of mark her other employees! She denigrates her workers in front of other workers wow! She had know idea who I was that was fascinating! I told her she doesn’t have to like employees to manage them ! And she shows on her face that she despises him ! However , what manager would tell a customer confidential information regarding their staff ! I confronted her behavior because she had no idea of my last name ! Whatever envious pugnacious behavior Mary has she should live it at home ! I wasn’t going to say anything ! Until I learned she approached Mr mayes later that day proving she wanted to know if I told him what she said which I did not! However she needs to read the policy about speaking negatively about family dollar employees to customers while other customers are shopping ! It was nasty behavior and it’s all on camera ! She got angry at me because I checked her ! I started to tell her to check into Rehab!

Crazy I come here all the time and never have no issue but tonight I came and it was 9:30 on the dot when I pulled up. They aren’t supposed to close until 10pm. There are 4 people at the door and a few more customers pulling up to trying to get in and the girl working let one person in who doesn’t work here and told everyone else they’re closed and turned us away. It makes no sense for the hours to say open til 10pm if they’re going to lock the doors before 9:30pm. Girl had an attitude and shooing people away, rolling her eyes and licking her hand.. with the door locked. Crazy. Family dollar needs better workers and customer service cause this experience was not it.

My husband bring his uncle and he disability person He is blind, he couldn't see the screen didn't get money back more than 25 dollars and she started yelling at him with a horrible attitude. They should change the staff to someone who appreciates their work. Plus she look people inside the store like someone is going to stole something

I started going to this store because it's cleaner, employees are kind an helpful,an they are open the hrs there suppose to be.the one by me 75223 closed when they wanted an some employees are rude
