Short older Black male Manager with braids is very rude and follows u through the aisle watched me from outside the store and Tall undercover Blk Male watches people in the back and then when u get to the register. Will not be spending anymore money here???Go elsewhere!!! Not worth it

Very rude staff. Went for change and was told I had to buy something because the register doesn’t just open like that but when someone paid for something in cash, black lady with dreads still refused to give me change and forced me to buy an item with a smirk on her face. Will never stop here again and don’t encourage anyone else to do so.

Needed a pool noodle. And instead of going everywhere since this is the first week of april. I decided Family Dollar might actually have them already. And they did, they hadn't even opened the box yet, but they were on the floor waiting to be stocked.

I have been to this location a few times and never had a problem but today my daughter came with me and also her service dog. The cashier stopped us at the door and said we couldn’t bring the dog in the store. I replied that it was her service animal and she asked to see the paper work. I replied to her that it’s against hippa to ask to see someone medical documents. She said where’s the vest? I replied she doesn’t have a vest but she does have a tag but my daughter forgot to put it on. She replied well how am I suppose to know and dogs not allowed because food is in the store. Family dollar please train your workers on things to say to someone who has a disability and their service animal. I will take a copy of the law for them for the next person that comes in there with their service animal.

A lot of good stuffs at low prices. Tho she was by herself, the only employee did a wonderful job; on top of being able to keep her temper & attitude well above par. And keep the store running. Understandable the store tries to keep the overhead low, so they could keep the prices low & affordable. Thank you!
