Evan’s is a special place. Try the drumsticks, pastrami, chicken salad and steaks. Gumbo is to write home about! Sides are all 5 star. Evan puts his Cajun background in all his stuff. He’s also got a new shop opening in north Dallas. His help are friendly and knowledgeable.

My son told me how amazing the pastrami sandwich is. I’m thinking “it’s just a sandwich how can it be that great?” Wow was he right! I would drive 100 miles just to get a pastrami sandwich. Beyond amazing!!!

Evan’s Meat Market is a classic neighborhood butcher shop concept with a modern Lafayette, Louisiana twist, offering customers a prime selection of quality meats, classic po’boys, and delicious ready-made dishes and sides. Our goal is to provide customers with premium products and cuts of meat while respecting the animal and its origin, teaching customers about the quality, and sharing our labor of love with the community. We combined everything there is to love about old-fashioned butchery with unmatched customåer service built on years of education and experience in the hospitality industry.
