Rick Rodriguez was outstanding -- answered questions straight forwardly, printed out specs for products we were interested in, provided pricing without being asked twice, AND knew about the products we were looking at.
All-in-all a very productive and time efficient meeting. John K.

Terrible experience with ordering appliances.
I ordered a refrigerator, washer and dryer on March 11, 2024 with an estimated availability date of April 20, 2024. After not receiving any update from the sales team at Ed Kellum, I reached out for an update on May 3rd and was told the refrigerator and dryer were still not available and there was no good estimate of when they would be. I was told that the problem was with the manufacturer. I was promised that they would get back to me with an estimate but nobody ever did. So I called again and got the same story (and same lack of follow-up) from another salesperson. Finally disgusted, I went to Home Depot's website and got the exact same models delivered within two days. The one positive thing I will say is that Ed Kellum refunded my purchase price quickly.

Back in 2020, I purchased $20k in new appliances. A big part of that was a Jenn Air built in fridge that was $10k. Ed Kellum outsources their installs to a company called Elevated Installations. Complete joke of a company. They installed my fridge in such an inept way that it won't come out of the space it's in yet it moves around in the space. Currently, the fridge part is popping out of the space yet the freezer is sunken in. Looks terrible and is a pain in the a**. Ed Kellum seems to have very little control over their subcontractors as nothing was done to rectify the situation. Ed Kellum is all there in the presale stage but once they have your money, you are a distant memory. My perception of installers is that they are people who have not made it in the real world and they have zero intellect, business sense and/or attention to detail. Ed Kellum should have competent installers and should make sure that the customer's issues have been taken care of. Not impressed and would not buy from them in the future.

It has been nearly one month since my dryer has not been working. I was supposed to wait one week to see someone. Due to the winter storm things were pushed back and we could not get someone out to look at it (understandable). Finally somebody comes by and says they don't know what's happening and they will call a third party to fix it in 2 weeks. I wait the two weeks and that 3rd party comes by and let's me know they can't fix it bc they need to order a part which will take another 3 weeks. In this time, Ed Kellum reps have not been helpful. The absolute bare minimum is being done to escalate. I don't even get responded to in a timely manner. I have to reach out multiple times to multiple stores. And still nothing helpful has been the outcome of these calls. I will have to wait two plus months to fix a machine I spent a few grand on. Waiting over 2 months to get something fixed is something that is seriously not reasonable. There's has been miscommunication and lack of communication every step of the way so far here.

Trenton was very helpful on appliances and brands. He answered all our questions and had some great suggestions. He was very knowledgeable. Seems everything is backorderd due to covid.

Helpful and insightful salesperson. Did a nice job. However, was never informed of when my items arrived at the warehouse. Had to call about a dozen times over three weeks to check. Great store and same prices as online. But it's important when people spend 5-7k on appliances to let them know when they arrive. If they can fix that part of service they will do great.

GAS EXPLOSION: Starpower and Ed Kellum & Sons have the worst humans working for them. Here is a quick breakdown of events...1. My wife and I decide to treat ourselves to a new Wolf gas stove top in our first home together. 2. Starpower/ Ed Kellum & Sons takes 3 weeks to deliver and we are informed they will take care if everything, including sending an installer. I am not in the business to install gas stoves so I trusted them as experts.3. They sent a third party contractor which they chose, I was shocked a little by this that they outsource this but again I don't know any better about this so I trusted them.4. The installer messed up the installation and the stove top EXPLODED on me. We had firefighters out to put out the fire. The installer was immediately called back and he installed the same gas line and Wolf appliance back in as if things were totally fine (the appliance smells like burnt metal every time we turn it on).5. Will S., Adrian (sales manager) and Ryan (head of sales) have all contacted me to express to me one thing: DONT SUE US! I nearly died and specially Ryan had an awful conversation with me acting as he was being insightful to tell me to basically stop complaining cause I didn't die. He wanted me to know they are thankful for the 2k I spent and if I have any issues to bring it up with the third party contractor or Wolf. Also, he was sure to mention that if I wanted to come back and spend more money then they can help. He kept saying "I am just a sales guy....". I NEARLY DIED AND YOU ARE MAKING A SALE RYAN?! THIS PLACE EMPLOYEES AWFUL INDIVIDUALS WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY. IF ISSUES ARISE (or unless you die from a gas explosion), THEY DONT CARE! PLEASE BE CAREFUL SHOPPING HERE!

After dealing with poor customer service at a big box retailer that didn't really have what we were looking for anyway, we went to Ed Kellum. Our sales person, Treyton was fantastic. We went up there 2-3 times before we finalized our order for our kitchen appliances and he was extremely friendly and helpful each time, even if it was the end of a long Saturday and they were getting ready to close. Delivery and installation went very well, too and the guys who installed the drawer microwave went above and beyond to fix an issue caused by the company we purchased our cabinets from. We couldn't be happier with our purchase and the service we received.

Ed Kellum & Son is the BEST!! GREAT service and good prices. We were in a tight spot, needed to buy a new dishwasher fast and they made it happen. They had what we wanted in stock, had it available for us to pick up (it is a good thing we have our own box truck with a lift gate) and it was a done deal in less than 2 hours. They made us customers for life. :-)

Unbelievably poor service by sales man , Manny. Never keep his words. Full of BS. Ended up returning hood after wasting time with him over a month. Horrible experience. Will never even step into this store. Such a bad experience. Want to report him to the cooperate office for all the lies he did.

They finally did the right thing and took care of the problem. Should of it had to go this way?, no. I would buy from them again but with a clear understanding that what would be expected.
