***If you are a POC or are Alternative steer clear of this store!!!!!!***Honestly would give this place 0 stars if I could. My significant other and I (both alt POC’s) were made to feel very uncomfortable. The profiling was very noticeable that even my mom felt it. One woman whom I assume to be the owner held my partners stuff upfront (yes my partner is half black), even though she didn’t do that with her other 5 white customers who had many different items. The older women who worked there proceeded to check on every other customer, talk to them politely, made them feel welcomed but was very cold towards us. Whatever though unfortunately we are used to this being Hispanic and black. But at one point I had to use the bathroom and they don’t have a public bathroom available, so my mom and I left real quick to find one while my girlfriend stayed and looked around. While I was gone the same lady who asked to hold her stuff checked her out and asked over and over “are you sure that’s all you have?” “Are you sure it’s just the shirt?” And followed her to the door repeating these questions. My partner felt so uncomfortable she waited in the rain till we came back to get her!! She felt more comfortable in the street, in the rain, in downtown Dallas! So my mom and I, already upset, felt like we needed to call and say something. Of course when she answered she was polite until confronted and said it was a misunderstanding, her empty apology consisted of “well sorry you felt that way” and “sorry that was YOUR experience.” She argued more than anything so we finally just hung up. Disappointed but not surprised. So yeah stay away if you are not cookie cutter white.

This place nails it with a sleek, stylish layout and incredibly helpful staff that make you feel at home. While the men's jackets and shirts are solid finds, the real winner for me is the stunning jewelry selection. From sparkling statement pieces to runway-ready accessories, their jewelry always delivers exceptional taste and quality. With impeccable fashion sense and top-notch service, their jewelry collection keeps me coming back time and again.

I really like this store, but I find it extremely irritating when a shop closes before it’s posted hours with no explanation. I just arrived at 4:45 pm on a Sunday, and their doors were locked. Please update your google hours (6:00 pm) as well as the sign posted on your door (5:00 pm). Time is meaningful, and you just wasted mine.

This is an East Dallas staple for vintage finds. The store is packed with clothes and antiques to search for treasures in. While prices can be high, so is the quality. I've always found staff to be friendly and helpful.

It really upsets me to write this because I have been a frequent customer at DP for years, but unfortunately the customer service rating is a -5. Had a direct interaction with the owner, and not only did she basically accuse me of lying, but to say that she was short with me would be the very least. Great stuff in the store but just beware because the customer is never right here :/ really disappointing

Went on a whim with my very particular 24 year old daughter. I fell in love immediately!!! She after 10 minutes was, over it. Until I tell her we are not leaving until you find something. Needless to say WE left 30 minutes later with things WE loved and the experience was amazing! Nicest staff I have seen and we are a huge fan of this hidden gem!

I find many treasures here, and I frequent this spot often. Art, trinkets, coats, shoes, etc. kind service. Stroll through the whole place, you won't leave empty handed. No cash. No returns. Small dressing room. Grab yourself a vintage Christmas dress or a fashionable blazer, costume jewelry or cool things to put on your night stand.

Selection great, but pricey. Good place for boots, hats, nostalgic docoratives for home. Very crowded and dusty, as such stores are.

Hello Dolly! This place is the weirdest of the Big D- this is where all the strangest and most unique items come to have another life. The collection here seems to be curated by a bunch of junk hunters, who also buy weird stuff as well. You can't really show up at Dolly Python saying that you need something. You just have to allow the items to find you. I never would've known that I needed that black velvet clown painting, or the JFK porcelain lamp that I'm sure won't make it out of Dallas alive. This junk and antiques store has so much strange stuff- at every corner, every little booth, there's a bunch of weird, weird stuff. The staff was super helpful making sure that they'd help me if I needed to check out that eyeball ring in the case, or if I needed help getting that half canoe out the door. They also sell clothing! Make sure you see their cowboy (and cowgirl) boot section- it'll knock your socks off! (Please leave your socks on while trying on the boots.) If you're a country or western DJ, this place is a one stop shop for all your hick-hop needs. Turns out, they even have a 2nd store in Dallas in the Bishop Arts District. I ended up walking out with a bunch of strange stuff for under $10!
