Not helpful at all. Did everything I was asked to do, and they never got back to me. They talk in their own jargon and have no sense of urgency. Don't believe the hype.

This organization is beyond amazing. The foster kept my dog for 2 weeks while I was away and the foster was absolutely phenomenal. She kept my mom updated the entire time and sent lots of pics. My boy Simon got to go on many walks, PetSmart and she even took him to her family easter get together! Thank you guys so much. I appreciate it more than you know

I’m currently in sober living and I was about to have to take my dogs to a kill shelter because all of the no kill shelters were full. Stephen’s team worked hard to get my dogs into a place and they saved both of my dogs. Now I have time to work on my recovery and not have to stress about my dogs while I am working on my program! Thank you DOGS MATTER TO !! Love you all !!

I can’t thank Dog Matter enough for helping my daughter and me with getting her dogs placed while she’s in recovery. I struggle to care for them and didn’t know what to do. I knew I couldn’t take them to a shelter because I was told there was no guarantee they wouldn’t be put down. Some recommended Dogs Matter and I am so grateful that she did! The founder is such a beautiful person with a heart of gold for these babies and their owners. This will be such a relief for my daughter…she won’t have to worry about them now. I will forever be grateful to Dogs Matter.

Wow, where do I begin! For the past 2 1/2 years I have struggled with alcohol after a year and a half of sobriety. In the eight weeks leading up to my temporary surrender I was lost I didn’t know what to do with my beloved Daisy.I didn’t even know an organization like Dogs Matter existed until I shared that I couldn’t afford treatment, not because of the cost of treatment which insurance was covering, but for the cost to ensure Daisy was well cared for while I was too!A person at Arise Recovery Centers in Dallas suggested I reach out to Dogs Matter and it was a start of the blessings that occurred over October into November. Dogs Matter made the process easy and the coordinator met me to pick up Daisy and transport her to her foster home. They kept in touch with me throughout the stay and shared pictures with me as I was in treatment. Daisy is a bit of her escape artist, and they were easily able to recover her and ensure she was safe back at the foster home. I applaud all their efforts and the foresight the founder of the organization had to see the need that is out there in the recovery community.Thank you Dogs Matter for all that you did for me and the work you continue to do for others recovery from hopelessness to hope!!

Nola Bear had a great experience with her foster family! I never had to worry about her once! We still keep in touch with our family and send photos back-and-forth. I highly highly highly recommend Dogsmatter2 ?

This non-profit was really helpful. I really needed to get in-patient treatment but was reluctant because I have a dog, Danny, and didn’t have anyone to care for him. Dogs Matter fostered him for 50 days, at no cost other than making sure his shots were current, and sent many photos of him happy and thriving while I was away. The photos always made my day and reassured me. I’m eternally grateful for this organization and highly endorse it. Thank you Taylor and Ashley for your help!

Taylor and crew and their incredible foster families have met a special need during a time of great heart-ache and healing. God and our dogs are there for us when we need them with unconditional love no matter what this world throws at us and DogsMatter meets offers that love and care right back to our pups an, as a result, all of us. We will remember their service and kindness to our family - always. Copper and his family.

This is the best source for getting help with your pet while seeking recovery. They are with you every step of the way and not only just for animal support, they really care about the individual too! My experience has been nothing short of phenomenal with them. I lived In Houston and was going to treatment in Austin, and they were able to help me get a foster in Conroe and take care of all her shots, meds, food, you name it, every worry or concern was lifted completely so I could focus on getting help. I cannot express how appreciative I really am. The best thing I can say is I love them for the quality of care they provided for my dog and I and I couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you again so so so so soooooo much! We are both happy and healthy and a huge chunk of that goes to dogs matter!

Taylor, I’ve got to say, I love this organization so much…this has been a really hard year, between being laid off from work, having to put my best friend dog down after 14 years, and then losing my dad as well, becoming an “orphan” as my mom passed in 2012, fostering Lady and Rosie has been such a joy! I’m so glad I found y’all, and I’ll support in any way possible! The healing power of dogs is amazing!

Dogs matter helped me take care of my dog while I went to seek out recovery. Tayler was great picked her up got her shots and found a loving and caring family to take care of her while I was in treatment. I couldn’t imagine a better place or people to take care of my baby girl so I can provide a better life for her and myself even after treatments Tayler picked me up and let visit her and constantly sent me pictures and updates. Dogs matter is one of the reasons I am living a productive and prosperous life and them taking care of her while I focused on my recovery was huge burden off my shoulders I couldn’t do this journey without Tayler and dogs matter they will always have my gratitude!
