Dignity thinks the patient works for them. Insecure people manipulate things, so if you do not play by their rules. They implement unethical, unprofessional behavior. I told the administrator via text, do not go! I knew my mother would not care for her. My mother does not like aggressive individuals. Most aggressive people are insecure. So she felt the administrator was being nosy. I told her, get the new caseworker and the nurse to see my mom. Get in there and get out. I’m telling this woman what my mother needs. They did not care about her need or feelings. It’s what they wanted nor did they listen. I told my mother from day one, when the emergency nurse showed up unannounced. I said no! Mama, this is not going to work. The other agency salesperson said, I told you, they were referred by your Home Health Care Agent. So it’s not working, the Case Manager is insecure, we have to babysit her feelings.. But I was not going to do that. So Saturday the equipment specialist shows up and commits elderly abuse. My mom tells me Sunday what happened and said, I did not want to say, you were right. Sunday she decided to find another agency. She did not care for the assistant nurse, aide, emergency nurse, or the Case Manager, after finding out she lied, saying she was going to order new equipment. So after the elderly abuse, my mom said go ahead and find another agency. I felt we needed to get new people. I was under the impression having new people, explaining my mother would help. These people do not work with integrity. I’m telling the administrator do not go! Send your new caseworker and assistant nurse. But again these people do not put their patient’s first. It’s about what they want! I’m gonna challenge this with Medicare. I called to file a police report, they suggest I call Medicare, they can reject payment due to elderly abuse, even suspend their agency after investigation. I will speak with Medicare tomorrow. This was a horrible experience! I wish no one else receives said treatment. They forgot about the patient assuming I was acting alone. Medicare will see the ethics of this agency.

Words cannot fully express the gratitude I have for Dignity Hospice and the incredible Nurse Shannon Palmer. From the very beginning, they orchestrated the immaculate care of my loved one, making her comfort and well-being their top priority. They bent over backwards to ensure she transitioned from this life to the next with love, compassion, and dignity—providing unmatched care every step of the way.
Shannon Palmer is nothing short of extraordinary. She not only delivers exceptional medical care but also takes the time to educate and guide families, preparing them for what’s to come and empowering them with the knowledge needed to care for their loved one. She and the entire Dignity Hospice team were always available, answering every question and offering unwavering support. Their respect for our family’s wishes was evident in every interaction, making an incredibly difficult time more bearable.
If you are looking for a hospice team that truly embodies love, respect, and dedication, look no further. Dignity Hospice and Nurse Shannon Palmer are a gift, providing the best support anyone could ask for. I am forever grateful.

I am forever grateful to Dignity Hospice. I was working with Corey and Robert. What a God sent people to help you in a crisis. The amount of compassion and care these people have is beyond measure. My dad spent his last 2 days under their care in peace and pain free. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I started as PRN which they never called me to work, and I didn’t receive the proper training. Also , when I did go to training the CNA’s were very snobby. And the owner told me twice I would receive additional training which never happened. But, they hire another CNA. I felt discriminated against. I wouldn't recommend working for this place unless you want to be ignored by the owner and her so-called assistant. In addition after reading the reviews, I can see why they are constantly hiring.

This is just another typical hospice company more concerned about the dollars they make than the patient. They will place ANYONE under hospice, even if they don't meet ONE of the twelve reasons to be on hospice. THEN they charge Medicare $9,500 a month to have a nurse come to your home once a week to take blood pressure and temp readings. $917.00 per visit. You could place your loved one in a fully staffed 24/7 facility for $9,500 a month... BUT.. Medicare does NOT cover that... but they cover this... could someone please explain this to me... Weird RIGHT~

We cannot say enough good things about the hospice team that aided our family. They went above and beyond to help us as a family and our dying family member. They took amazing care of her, the aide Elizabeth was caring and thoughtful with each interaction. The intake coordinator Corey helped us with the hospital and helped us to get her home. The nurses who came weekly Kaleigh and Richard always took the time to explain and help us in our daily struggles. The social worker Julie helped us with resources and counseling. And Chaplin Jeremy counseled us and just listened to us when we needed an ear. And the Comfort Care team(Julia and Ike) in the final days took care of everything when we were too emotionally and physically drained to do so. This team went above and beyond.

I own a home care company and I refer my clients to Dignity when the time arises. I've used quite a few hospice agencies in the past, and Dignity is by far the best. Even when my best friend was dying, I called on Dignity to take care of her until the end and I cannot say how wonderful they all are. A special acknowledgment to Krista, the RN that takes care several of our clients and whom I specifically asked to see my best friend to the end. She was amazing.

While no one ever wants to have to use hospice, it is a fantastic service once the need arises. Dignity was on top of everything the moment we called. They offered to come meet with us at the hospital right when I called. We didn’t need to wait until the next morning for business hours. Corey was amazing with my family and made my mom feel comfortable with our choice. When she was discharged the next day, they were there to get everything taken care. All the equipment we needed was already set up at her house when she arrived. Every nurse that came by was excellent. When it became apparent that more was needed, Corey even stopped by the house.
There are a lot of places to choose from when you are in the position. I can’t recommend Dignity enough.
