Do NOT come to the Minute Clinic.
I checked in upon arriving, and there was somebody already there, but maybe 10 minutes after sitting the lady cracks open the door and says what I think is my name, but I’m not sure so I go up to verify. She barely acknowledges me so I asked again and then tells me to come in. The moment I come in, this lady acts like I have leprosy and starts wiping everything down that I touch. She asks me what I came in for, although I filled it out in the document all the pre-work I let her know. During this time, she also asked me about where I pick up my prescription. She had a different CVS ans I let her know that was the wrong one; which she then proceeds to ask me to look it up so I can give her the address.
Once she stands up, I realized that she was pregnant. I tried to give her grace for this as this lady was moving at snail pace with an AWFUL attitude. She had some gloves on and used the same gloves to open the door and get something from the other room and proceeded to keep using those gloves to touch the devices - very surprising for someone who was just wiping everything down. She was going to use on me, which I thought was not sanitary, but I didn’t want to cause a worse environment, so I didn’t say anything.
Again, the nurse is taking her sweet time and fumbling around with the machines. She finally does the flu test and my results came back negative during that time she then proceed to do the Covid and strep throat test. She takes my blood pressure checks my breathing makes me get on the scale. While we wait on the Covid and flu test, she gets on the phone with another nurse and has a full conversation with her once they get off she says i have strep, hands me a mask and says we can process paperwork.
During that time she mentioned to me that my insurance is not going through. I let her know that that has never happened and asked if she can process again. She processes again and says it doesn’t go through a balance of 200 and some dollars ask if I could call my insurance because I’ve never had that issue. She asked me to step out so she could take the other patient and I called them. I explained the situation they try to call #MIN clinic but there’s a long hole so she asked me if she could talk to the nurse. I let her know the nurse was seeing someone else. Once they were done in the room, I tell the nurse that the lady wants to talk to her and she happened to be on the phone and I guess she was talking to that same other nurse. She then tells me that she has to go to lunch and that my insurance actually did go through and the balance that she was seeing was what I had to pay out-of-pocket, so again she was in the wrong and didn’t know what she was doing.
I had several questions, but she was rushing me out because she “had to go to lunch.” She did not walk me through what was prescribed, nor did I get a rundown of the charges. When I get to the car and look at a summary of what she says we discussed, she says we discussed a variety of things and then the last bullet she had on there was overweight, mind you we did not have conversations so I felt like that was disrespectful and unprofessional as she was the entire visit. When I get home to look at the full summary of whatever I was charged and I believe I was overcharged because this lady said that I could had an extended appointment that was the most expensive thing on my bill. My visit was so long due to HER wasting to my time. I’m so disappointed in my treatment and truly don’t feel that I have strep throat. The way I was rushed out due to her telling me multiple times she had to go to lunch. I wasn’t even able to check to see if she included a doctor’s note. Strep throat is highly contagious. I was given medicine for 10 days, but she did not think to include a doctor’s note.

Total disgrace. CVS continues to invent new ways to disappoint and annoy its customers. I’ve lost hope they will ever figure it out.

The Pharmacy staff are super helpful! Tonda was the nicest person, especially after I visited 3 other pharmacies to no avail. She helped fill my prescription super quickly and was polite the entire time :)

During my recent visit to this CVS location, I was deeply dismayed to witness a distressing incident. A customer was verbally assaulting a person who works in the beauty aisle using derogatory and discriminatory language that was utterly unacceptable. To my dismay, the store manager's response to the situation was deeply disappointing. Not only did the manager fail to intervene and protect the employee, but the lack of action was concerning and disheartening. As a customer, I believe that it is essential for any establishment, especially one as reputable as CVS, to prioritize the safety and well-being of their employees. Every individual deserves to feel secure and respected in their workplace, and it was disheartening to see this basic right overlooked.I urge the management of this CVS location to implement comprehensive employee training and ensure that all staff members are supported and protected in such situations. Creating a safe and inclusive environment is not only a responsibility but a necessity for any business.

The Whole US Health care system sucks but to top it, minute clinic NP ordered a few blood tests and the information was 'sent' to Labcorp and turns out Labcorp only received partial information. We were kept hanging for three days with no information. Why do we have to pay again for another blood test, never mind the wait time

Please, please stay away from the pharmacy. They do not know what they are doing and their area is filthy. A dirty place and incompetence go hand in hand.

The Minute Clinic here got me in early, even though I couldn't get an appointment until later in the day. The medical staff that evaluated me was very kind.

The NP in the minute clinic is awesome, so nice and professional! She even called after the clinic closed to change a prescription for me so that my insurance would cover it. I’ll definitely come here for any other minor issues in the future. It was also very easy to talk with cvs customer service to fix my issue with insurance too!
