While I am sure there are good and committed doctors here, somewhere there is a breakdown occurring that made me not trust bringing my fur babies there. Very soon after i adopted two kittens, I brought them to Cornerstone to treat for some routine things they picked up from the animal shelter where i got them. Several days later, i brought one of the kittens back. My normally strong and super energetic kitten had been listless and not feeling well. Going through the medicines with the doctor, we realized that the vet tech had entered the prescription incorrectly, and my kitten had been prescribed twice the amount of medicine he should have been. The doctor was horrified and promised to do better, and assured me that this sort of thing never happened there. I believed her, and we moved forward. Cut to 6 or so months later, I went to pick up flea medicine for the two cats. I had asked for a printed prescription so I could fill it at Costco, and also bought a month's supply while I was there. On the way home, I happened to open the little envelopes just to make sure i had the correct meds. One cat weighed significantly more than the other, and therefore had been prescribed a different version of the flea medicine. However, they had given me the wrong medicine for that cat. I would not have known this had I not received a hard copy of the prescription, which they were reluctant to give me. I immediately went back to Cornerstone and told them what had happened, and that this was the second time they had given me incorrect medicine. The office manager had me wait in a room and got the same doctor to come talk with me. The doctor came in, I explained what had occurred. She said it was strange that this kept happening to me, and seemed frustrated. But then, something changed in the doctor's demeanor. In a rather cold and businesslike manner, she said, "I feel like we are not meeting your expectations here." I was flabbergasted. Yes, I do have the expectation that the animals I love and care for are given the correct medicine. Doesn't everybody? I had a flood of thoughts going through my head at that moment, like, why is this doctor acting like I am a bitchy Karen who is never satisfied, when they are the ones who fucked up the prescriptions for a second time?? I paused, and just looked at her and said, "Unbelievable," and then turned and walked out. I knew that nothing I could say at that moment would change the situation, change the doctor's reaction, or restore the trust that had been broken. By the time I arrived home, Cornerstone had already emailed to me the health records of my cats, no message or anything. Yes, it's true that I wouldn't have gone back, and thank you for sending me the health records. But jeez, why the sour grapes on their part, as if I had done something wrong? Anyway, I am sure there are good and committed doctors at Cornerstone, but I hope they are able to figure out where the breakdowns are occurring and fix them; people count on them and trust them with the animals we love very much.

Dr Escobedo is absolutely world-class. We live 30 Mi away and will only trust our pets to him. We have been taking our pets to cornerstone for over a decade. The vets there are top notch, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and we have always been able to trust them. Everything about this place is done with excellence!

We have been entrusting our pups with this practice now for over 15 years, and we can wholeheartedly recommend them! Everyone from the front office to the techs to the vets- they have all been professional, knowledgeable, communicative and responsive to our needs, and we remain grateful for their guidance and partnership in the ongoing keeping and caring of our precious furbabies.

Dr. Ben Morse and the Entire Cornerstone Team are the best !They are friendly, caring and thorough.The care that my 6 year old Welsh Terrier has received since he was just a puppy has been excellent.Thank you Dr. Morse and staff.

Our dogs always leave happy. Wether it’s for grooming, vet appointment or boarding. The front office staff are super nice and doctors are very knowledgeable.

Dr. Morse was fantastic, we are new to the clinic and he gave me a full tour. I’ve never had anyone do that at any other veterinary clinic. I like that they are full service: boarding, grooming , and great care for my dog.

Everyone, from the front desk staff, the technicians, the doctors, the pharmacist, and groomers are all exceptional! They all go above and beyond because they know these little fur-babies are part of our families. In addition to being so professional and efficient, they are so kind, understanding, and compassionate.The doctors are so skilled in diagnosing and then evaluate and determine the very best treatment. In addition to the best medical treatment, I’ve had the pleasure and security of boarding my cats, using the daycare, having my cats bathed & groomed, shopping for toys and treats, getting special food and prescription food , and getting prescriptions filled. And when it’s time you lose your best little friend, the folks at Cornerstone are there to hold you up. I feel lucky to have the best veterinarians and staff to look after my fur kids. Thank you!

We purchased our Miniature Pinscher and Dachshund several years ago and needed a local vet. I consulted a Facebook group and a dear friend and had several glowing recommendations for Dr. Mores at Cornerstone. They fit us in on the day and time of our choice and were incredibly professional with excellent bedside manners. Not to mention, they offer Daycare services throughout the week. The entire staff has always made me feel very comfortable and confident in their handling of my dogs. They always keep me informed throughout the process with regular calls and any changes to treatment and prices. Highly recommend Dr. Morse at Cornerstone.

We have been visiting Cornerstone for several years and are beyond pleased. Sarah, Amy and Eryka in grooming provide the best service in Dallas. We had a dental appointment this week with Dr. Castro and he took the time to call us twice to explain exactly what he was doing and then met in person to go over the procedures performed on our 14 year old dog in great detail. He and his Medical Assistant Heather went above and beyond. Caring and compassion are the greatest strengths of this clinic! You and your furry friends will love Cornerstone.

Love this team! We have 4 dogs and have had 6 puppies seen here. Love the vet (we usually see Dr Escobedo) and they are always helpful and kind. The staff is super busy but when they can stop for a moment they are helpful. Our last rescue pup was in rough shape and they got her healthy and she is now a thriving happy dog. We also have our dogs groomed here and are very pleased with the results! Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience at my old vet with one of my cats so I went to Cornerstone instead and they were absolutely amazing.Dr Morris got me in and took care of my kitty that was in pain. Plus, all of the staff from the front desk to the vet techs were professional and so sweet to my cat that I brought in. Cornerstone makes you feel welcome and they treat your fur baby like it's their own. I am so happy that I switched from my old vet to Cornerstone because I know now that all of my cats will be taken care of. Thank you so much for everything!
