“Office Depot on Grenville is a fantastic place because of its people! I prefer to visit a store to make an informed decision on a purchase. Sure, you can buy and return it online, but it is a hassle. I went in to purchase an office chair. OD allowed me to "Try before I buy." I approached an employee, "Dameon," to ask questions about a chair, and he went with me to answer questions and check the stock. He spent 15 minutes with me, and I purchased two chairs. He took me to the cashier and said she, "Debbie," would take it from there. When leaving, he said to someone, "See you tomorrow." I was curious and asked him if he was already off the clock when I approached him, and he said, "Yes, no problem, they were there to serve the customer." I was blown away. Dameon spent his time helping me, wondering if I would buy anything. Now, that is customer service. Debbie then went to pull the chairs and send me on my way. Their teamwork and attitude is a credit to the store manager and the environment in the store. I had not had that kind of experience in a long time. Office Depot, particularly Dameon, and that store deserves an A+.”
“This Office Depot store is always meticulously clean and staff are always super helpful no matter how busy it gets. All of the managers are super friendly and always customer focused. I was helped by manager John this afternoon and he was super helpful. One of the products I was buying had a small defect that I hadn't noticed and he substituted it for one without a defect. Employees of this store are always so helpful that I would drive 20 minutes out of the way just to shop here.”
