“Such an amazing experience and place!! Great price! Staff is very friendly snd knowledgeable. The horses were very well trained. We had a small group for Valentine’s Day which was just perfect. We were a little delayed on the way to the establishment, and the staff still accommodated us so that we could get the full experience which I appreciated so much. “Absolutely LOVE GIRL SCOUTS‼️‼️ Been an Adult Volunteer for over 17 years and really enjoyed the event for the Girl Scouts at the STEM Center of Excellence. I truly believe that ALL girls should be Girl Scouts. The lessons they learn, the experiences they earn, the countless opportunities to serve their local, state, national, and international communities is awemazing. Years of learning and living from a place of excellence and leadership is something I feel all children can benefit from. My college student is a lifetime member, my 12 year old is following in her footsteps. They are required to do Girl Scouts in my home!”

“The Magdalen House saved my life in many different ways. They allowed me to stay for free, taught me what being an alcoholic really means, and most importantly, provided me with the tools to find recovery. It is truly a one stop shop; friends and loved ones can get support, you can volunteer, learn to chair meetings, find a sponsor/sponsees, and most importantly, find and connect with a fellowship of people who have gone through, felt, and done the same things you have. I am eternally grateful to The Magdalen House.”

“We join during the summers specifically for the pool and swim lessons. The staff are always friendly, locker rooms and pool are clean, and the swim teachers have always been very kind and patient with my kids. We arrive early for lessons in case we have to hunt a bit for parking, but finding a spot usually isn't an issue if we come to swim in the afternoon.”

“Older but cute and clean facility. I took a Zumba class here and it was a lot of fun! Mix of people and sizes but everyone full of energy and encouraging others. I do like that the fitness classes are down their own hallway. I’ve been to other YMCAs before and they are set up for common traffic as spectators, I wasn’t a fan of those.”

“This place is great! They got me and my partner a very reasonable rate for counseling. They use a sliding scale now based off your income. So if you can truly only afford 20 dollars per session then that’s what they give you, for the same service as the full price. Both of our counselors have been great for us but they will also try their best to get you a better fit if it’s not working for you. The intake system can take some time, I think I waited a couple of months from the time I called to the time I started, so maybe not great if you need a therapist today. But if you can wait a bit this is an amazing service! If you don’t hear anything for a while after your intake interview, you can call and see your place on the waiting list. They do have a limited amount of counselors who seem to be very busy so patience is virtue. If you can wait and think you can’t afford any help, please check out this resource! It could save your life.”

“Ronnie & Jeremy were great, once I got to the back I was in and out. They also both were super kind & had great energy. The only drawback was my wait time, I waited about 2 1/2 hours—however once Ronnie noticed he took care of me immediately. My advice would be for visitors to make appointments prior to going to avoid a long wait.”

“This is one of the best community centers I've visited in a long time. Their commitment to the community, the older adult population, and service to multi-generations is admirable.”

“The place was a bit hard to find since the entrance was tucked away under a parking garage, the set up of the garage was odd. The facility is non-profit so they do not really offer treatment but will put you through rigorous tests to find out what condition a patient may have. I visited with a friend who is limited on money and was diagnosed with Cone-Rod Dystrophy while living in Germany. They did a genetics test to determine which chromosome was causing the defect and we received the results a few months later. The associate that was conducting the tests was very friendly but the doctor was not as friendly. He seemed very rushed and almost hesitant to answer some questions we had. They did not offer any help for my friend since they were not studying that disorder at this time but provided some recommendations on how to get help, especially since he didn't have insurance.”

“I’ve been a loyal contributor to the altar in the street my whole life. Some people say oh buying a hunting tag yes I’ve got a tag but I also participated in year-round conservation and made sure the animals that I was trying to hunt for were fed and taken care of. It’s like having a farm but the animals aren’t yours their mother natures. People have no idea when hunters get back. Financially or emotionally. The financial side is much greater it’s an embarrassment to our community that people don’t understand that hunters are literally are the only individuals that pay for the conservation Wildlife PETA pays for marketing. hunters pay to save our animals. Let’s change the narrative.”
