City Vet - Uptown is fantastic. The staff is welcoming, very friendly and knowledgeable. Drs. Coville and Ross are wonderful veterinarians and passionate about their work. The entire team takes excellent care you and your pets.

One of my dogs was having a severe allergic reaction to a bug sting/bite, and they got us right in and took him straight back. They definitely saved his life and I am so grateful for the effort and communication from the staff and Dr Ross. It was a scary situation and they were very calming and reassuring. They took excellent care of him and monitored him to ensure that he was going to recover.

Dr. Alyssa Coville is one of the nicest and smartest humans I’ve ever met. She cared for our dog with cancer from diagnosis to passing, and there’s no one else we would’ve wanted by his side in the end. She truly has a heart of gold. Thank you Dr. Coville and the amazing staff ❤️

Had a horrible experience at CityVet this morning. My cat gets shots there every month. I use Ruffit. I bring in my dog for his medical needs.. I took an early morning appointment today for my dog because it’s the only time they had this week that worked in my schedule. I got up early, not feeling well and loaded my dog into the car for the first time in a month (I’ve minimized his activity because he started having hip problems. Hence the appointment).
I showed up twenty minutes late and they couldn’t meet with me. Which is fine. My issue was that the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude about it. She talked to me like I was an employee who showed up late to work for the hundredth time. I was extremely upset about the treatment. Especially since I showed up there tired and not feeling well with a dog that is injured. Very disappointed in CityVet.

I cannot say enough good things. In fact as I write this I’ve got some tears in my eyes. Dr Murphy and this staff are so far above and beyond any other clinic. We went to them for a second opinion on our fur baby (dog) Affy after being given a grim diagnosis. They cared for her and us truly like family. They took time with us and were very thorough. They gave us the truth, some hope, ran extensive tests, and gave us options. They went so far beyond the extra mile to help us find a surgeon since Dr Murphy himself has a broken thumb and couldn’t do it at the time. They helped us find one, and even though Dr Murphy didn’t do the surgery himself, he called to check up on our little girl. As a business owner myself, this has inspired me to be better at what I do. And we will be making the four hour drive for checkups to continue her care with Dr Murphy (we just moved from Dallas). Thank you for everything! We are touched and truly grateful.

Dr. Ross and the entire team at City Vet Uptown are such pros. They obviously know the vet side of things but also clearly care deeply about the pets and parents they take take such good care of. They are very reassuring when I have to leave my fur baby for a few hours of care that she will be gently and kindly cared for. It means so much to me. I also appreciate the smaller version of a vet clinic. It feels more personal than larger clinics. I greatly appreciate and highly recommend City Vet Uptown.

Worst vet experience i’ve ever had… i told them the issue my husky was having and told them he needed his stool to be tested and possibly some other tests to see what’s going on with his skin an a lump on his back that seemed to not go away an getting bigger. when they took him for the exam it had to be no longer then 6 or 7 min before they returned with him saying he’s such a good boy he did great!….. But what i’m confused about is how anyone could do any sort of real tests or observations in such little time and completely disregard what we came there for they threw his stool sample away after i made sure to tell them he needed a parasite test an when the Veterinarian came in he said my dog had allergies…… seasonal allergies….. How do you know what my dog has when you literally didn’t do anything but look…everything i was concerned about for my dog required much more then what was done… which was nothing. $247 for them to tell me my dog has allergies….. that’s insane….. i don’t trust this place not a single bit… do not take your dog here they will not actually take your pet’s health seriously an just take your money.

Always love CityVet! The vet staff is super attentive, kind and always helpful. Everyone there treats my dog cowboy like a king and he LOVES going to the vet. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Always a great experience with this location. Friendly front staff that greet you and your pet with a warm smile and extremely helpful. Medical team thorough and provide excellent care.
Despite my goldendoodle trying to hide, they took amazing care of him.

I love Dr. Murphy & CityVet. I have been going here for 10+ years. Five years ago I had to put down my sweet Rowdy (after almost 17 years), & they were the so kind & caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Other details of importance to some:
Upscale appearance & atmosphere & little to no wait. Staff are knowledgeable & like they care & are genuinely trying to help.

I love city vet! I’ve been taking my dog Joey here since I moved to Dallas. The doctors are so great and caring. Joey also gets groomed here, and they do a great job!
