My child is having a great lasting learning experience at Charles Rice. Today they held a Covid vaccine drive to help get the community vaccinated. The principal is very involved and the staff as well. I have no complaints only kudos!

THIS BY FAR HAS BEEN THE WORST SCHOOL YEAR EVER! THIS IS YEAR WAS THE VERY FIRST TIME GOING VIRTUAL AND I MUST SAY, THE KIDS SPEND MORE TIME TAKING "BREAKS" RATHER THAN LEARNING!!!! I HAVE A 1ST AND 3RD GRADER AND BOTH NEVER SEEM TO HAVE ANY HOMEWORK! EVERY PROJECT THAT IS GIVEN IS COLORING/PICTURES!!!! I HONESTLY FEEL AS IF THIS SCHOOL IS NOT GIVING THEIR BEST AND COULD CARE LESS OF WHAT MY CHILDREN LEARN...AND AT THIS POINT, I DON'T FEEL LIKE THEY ARE LEARNING, AT ALL!!!!!! IT IS MOST DEFINITELY TIME TO TRANSFER!!!!!

My son has been going to this school since kindergarten. Kinder to 2nd grade was ok, but he hit 3rd grade this year. Majority of the staff are rude and unprofessional I've come to find out, most of the teachers yell at the students and talk to them any kind of way, they barely give out homework, they don't challenge the students enough, their school projects are too simple, and again the staff is just too rude !!!! The cafeteria workers gave my son seafood more than twice when he was having food allergies, thank goodness he grew out of it or he would have went into anaphylactic shock. His reading/language arts teacher this year {3B} was the WORST. She does not communicate or interact well with parents. She gives low grades and does not care if your child is doing well or not. She says she'll do something to help and NEVER follows through. She acts as if she's burned out ! Now the Science/Social studies and math teachers actually teach. I like them. They make sure the students understand the curriculum. The principal is by far the best. She is always available for her parents and students . A lot of those old bitter teachers, however, need to be fired and replaced !
