Worst place to live. They’re infested with rats and roaches and they don’t do anything to have them removed. The feces from the rats and roaches falls down from the cracks they have between the cabinets and also in the cabinets.. you can clean it and it’ll pile up again before the day is over. I have 3 small kids and I asked to be transferred to another unit but they denied. You can smell the rat urine and feces when the heat or air is turned on.. my family has been breathing this in for months. Don’t waste your money coming here. Management is hard to reach and don’t really care about the problems you have. NOTHING HAS BEEN ALLEVIATED IN MY APARTMENT HOME, IF IT WAS THEN I WOULDN’T STILL HAVE RATS IN MY HOME AND THE FECES IN MY HOUSE (AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES) I ASKED TO BE PLACED ON THE LIST FOR PEST CONTROL TO COME PLACE TRAPS AND I HAD TO WAIT 2 WEEKS TIL FEBRUARY 15 AND THEY NEVER CAME INSIDE MY UNIT.. I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE POINTLESS ATTEMPTS AT GETTING PEST CONTROL TO COME INSIDE MY UNIT AND THEY HAVE DOCUMENTATION OF THAT AS WELL.

I thought these apartments were okay at first, but I’ve started to see otherwise. First off, it’s all bills included, so they control when the AC or heater turns on (as do most all bills paid apartments do), but it’s been in the mid 80s outside and these apartments are getting HOT. Also, the leasing office is connected to other apartment units, so how is it that they have AC, but the residents don’t? ? also, I get that apartments can’t guarantee residents’ safety, but is nobody gonna address the shooting that just happened last week? Then if somebody tries to move because of safety concerns, it’s a $1800 termination fee if it’s before the lease ends, plus a 60 day notice? But yet, you can get evicted within days? lol be so fr right now. Can’t wait for my lease to end.

I’ve been dealing with and lived here for ABOUT going on Two Years now and I can state SEVERAL things on why people who want a safe, comfortable relaxing and HAPPY place to call HOME NOT TO MOVE HERE but I’ll just state this right now my walls have not been painted only patched up as we paid a fee a $100 to get wall repaired and the Maintenance only came to patch up the wall but never painted it then CLOSED THE ORDER TWICE stating that he came and finished the job but never did. Came the second time finally with the paint but was the wrong color paint and told me he had to order the paint he will come back tomorrow and never did. The Manager/Management Team isn’t good and don’t really help you find a solution to your issues regarding your apartment just throw insane rules at you and are EXTREMELY QUICK TO GIVE YOU A LEASE VIOLATION FOR EVERYTHING!! Security ALWAYS Talking on her phone and will Harass you especially after 10pm as the complex is on a CURFEW!! Although reading some of the comments from the other tenants/previous tenants people are outside hanging out all types of late night smoking and chilling as security never says anything to them. I’ve seen it several times for myself but security ALWAYS FOUND SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN AND SAY TO ME ITS ABSURD. You will be treated like and start to feel like you are in jail after your first to second month of living here. It’s sad!! I can go on but for now I won’t. Maintenance Please come paint and finish my wall that I paid $100 for instead of coming to hand me a lease violation. Come finish your job instead of closing it out like you finished it but didn’t TWICE ALREADY!!

So far i’ve been staying here a couple weeks and between the roach infestation and the luke warm water i don’t know what i dislike most. I’ve spoken to the office and maintenance granted they will respond to your request but in a dismissive way. when i first moved in my apartment i had hot water after 2 weeks of living here my water temperature changed due to a issue with there water heaters and now my water will not get hot. Maintenance will complete orders without coming to thoroughly coming through. It’s a clean apartment complex other than coming home after a long day of work you have to take a warm shower at best and a lot of roaches it’s a ok place to live.(After Repose on google) Even though maintenance been to my house multiple times at first he was saying it was hot water until he started getting multiple complaints my water is not hot my son was sick and was shivering in the shower after the water has been running for 30 mins i was told to turn all the water on in the house to make it flow better if it doesn’t warm then there is nothing they can do being that thier boiler doesn’t work which is not a adequate answer for paying tenets regardless all bills are not we pay rent should not have to be intimidated over the internet because the office manager does not like my statement. Also just cause someone tells you the sky is green does not mean it’s true maintenance has been there multiple times but my water was cold every time not hot so please be respectful. I live in this complex and use the water throughout the day and it’s not hot. Water getting to a hot temperature then cooling is way different then the water not getting hot at all they definitely can do better being it’s about to get cold people should not have to come home and take a cold shower. Being they do not have an option to take a bath and i can just boil water so you can compromise due to how the tub is only option is to take a cold shower.

Overall, my experience with Casa Luna Apartments is great. The approval process was smooth (my credit was bad but was able to get approved). The apartment i am in is a renovated model which i didn't know i was getting until i moved in which is nice. Not a lot of maintaince issues but whenever it was an issue, i put in my request and they came by as soon as possible. There are neighbors that smoke weed A LOT which sucks. My only gripe is the rent being too high but i think thats anywhere you go now. the renewal process was as smooth as me getting in initially and all in all, i am glad i have a place with casa luna.

The central heater blow hot air .Temperature is 95 degree inside the appartment for 5 days . Nothing can be done . When i email them , the response that i can receive is to open the windows ...and switched thermostat and tgey that this thermostat is out of control of the central heater... Thanks Lord who read my email and grant me cool weather ..and blow cool air lol...

This is a good place to live at there’s just minor little things that we needed fixed which Maintenance did a wonderful job on which every apartment is gonna have and just the management switch over to heat to soon when it’s getting hot out back and forth but the Texas weather is bipolar other then that I like living here it’s quiet on my side and neighbors are friendly really don’t hear anything it’s peaceful honestly.

Before moving in if you MUST live here: get a second floor unit. We had our upstairs neighbors (that had kids most of the time) that ran around their unit like ALL DAY and that is not an exaggeration. Just inquire about your surroundings. It was just annoying as hell.Be sure you and whomever of legal age is there to sign the lease same day you move in cuz you won't get your keys. Didn't even want to wait a little bit. They close whenever they feel like it. When we needed to talk to someone, phone wasn't answered and closed before hours on door.Safety: At one point a month or 2 moving in, there was an inspector that walked in. No notice, scared tf out of my roommate and thought someone broke in. They had maintenance fix a plug under the kitchen sink due to exposed wires. Shouldn't inspections be done PRIOR to signing someone into a unit? That's a safety hazard and very concerning!Cameras: don't work?! Asked them if they could help us and told us they'd review the cameras at a later time. So car was sitting in the tow yard for several days and dug into moving savings. No courtesy of telling us where it was at when they HAVE your car saved onto your profile so they know whose car is residential and which aren't when you sign the lease.PORCH PIRATES! They don't hold packages that come in from Amazon. I've had several taken from my door. Use the amazon locker at 7-11 across the street. Make sure they fit or send them to someone that will be home to receive it.Bugs: yes, they exist. It's manageable but is creepy. Rarely saw little water bug babies, always saw mature older water bugs. We also dusted some diatomaceous earth which did help. Thankfully never had ants or bedbugs which was a plus.Neighbors: were constantly fighting and yelling. Occasionally smoked so you could smell it in the bathroom and the kitchen sink where the pipes are.Maintenance: worked quickly whenever we needed them to come in and friendly. To the day moving out a ceiling fan was never replaced or fixed promised on the first week of moving in. Said it had to be ordered and even after moving out, I fear they still might be waiting for that fan to be delivered. Might've been out of their control. They did caulk a window shut cuz rain was leaking in from a downpour. They always cleaned their mess.Community laundromat: Hated it. People don't clean up after themselves. When using the app, I'd report it through the app that half the dryers gave out. Told me to talk to the office and office told me to tell the ppl through the app. So nobody wanted to take responsibility. Asked for all my money back to my original payment and started going to a better taken care of laundromat.The establishment: Generally old. Constantly shutting the water for sewage issues cuz it's old or cutting off the AC/Heat because of renovations. Really wish they'd just get it fixed before renting out the place and having ppl suffer thru the summer heat and cold winters. Also, there's only ONE setting. They control that. You can only control the range of the setting they have it on. So in the summer, they will swap it to ONLY cold and in the winter they swap it to the heater ONLY. They will go out now and then. So have you own fans or portable heaters. They do get landscapers to mow the lawn, just don't expect to sleep in haha.Payments: To some, this is important! It's one lump payment. You cannot pay half and half. It's due first day of the month with some grace days I think up to the 3rd? AND you can only pay from ONE account/card. I think it was maybe a $6 processing fee when using a card? idr how you could pay without paying an additional fee. sorry.There's def a lot. But if we had a choice, we'd go elsewhere. I wanna say we felt welcomed at the beginning buuuut maybe just wanted to get ppl to sign a lease and not help. I really wanted to believe the lady at the front cared.

Why is no one ever in the office?Why does my power keep going out? I work from home. If I can't use the utilities that I pay for, how do you expect me to be able to pay rent and utilities? I'm frustrated at this point.

Rent for a three bedroom is 1435 a month unless somebody breaks your window from the outside. Then the office charges you an extra hundred dollars. Therefore you have to pay 1535 for that month and you’re not allowed to pay your rent online unless you pay the extra hundred dollars as well. When I asked management why they didn’t review the cameras to see who did it and charge the culprit I was told “what makes you think we didn’t” and quite frankly what makes me think they didn’t is because if they did, they would have known that no one was at my home to break the window and also what else makes me think that is because word around the apartments is all the cameras don’t work… I know they didn’t review the cameras and they want to charge somebody but getting over on tenants this way is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Then my children were brought into it, whom had nothing to do with it or the situation, and I was told that my kids are left home late into the night hours, which she has no proof of just unfounded word of mouth from one incident when I got home from work late around 11pm one day. Mind you, I’m not breaking any laws I’m not breaking my lease and what goes on inside my home is my business and not the people in the office business and why that was even brought up is very confusing to me because it had nothing to do with my broken window, which they charged me $100 for and it’s been broken almost a week and they haven’t even fixed it, so why are you charging me for something you haven’t fixed!? This property is unsafe even with security because that one gaurd on duty can’t be everywhere at once and a lot of the cameras don’t work. I always hear gun shots and now my window has been broken maliciously. A previous tenant let her pit bull out on some kids I mean WOW what’s next!??? And will I be charged for whatever the next person does too? They’re so quick to charge for something but when the whole property didn’t have a/c for 4 days they didn’t credit us a penny!!! And before they jump on here trying to b on the offense or deny and lie about how office staff speaks to tenants or the a/c being out I have proof in email and I also have a voice recording of the entire situation in the office regarding my window so NEXT!!! Take responsibility and do better instead of denying and placing blame unjustly on people who are just telling the truth on the property and it’s staff!

Haven’t been here 2 whole weeks n my air has been out for 3 days!!! Have called for emergency maintenance every day and no one in the office answers when the “24 hr call center” reaches out ? 80+ in your home is crazy ? will be contacting Texas tenants association and code compliance this is unlivable standards and poor customer service practices! For 1400+ a month I should have a/c!!!! Update: Not having any residents with my name is crazy cuz u didn’t even ask my name, my email isn’t my name ? secondly yes there was an A/C outage apartments wide for 4 days! When I said no one would answer I mean when I called the office during office hours they would not answer nor would they respond to the messages I left with the “24 hr call center” n now I have another issue, I’m getting charged $100 because someone broke my window when no one was home! I asked the lady in the office to review the cameras n she said “what make u think we didn’t” to which I replied “if you did you would know no one was home when it happened and it was broken when my daughter go home from school” to which she said my kids are left home alone which quite frankly is none of her or anyone else’s business and has nothing to do with my broken window! Which has been broken for SEVERAL days and I’m getting charged for them fixing it but it’s not even fixed!! Nor did I have any control over it being broken in the first place! It’s ludicrous that I have to pay for someone else malicious act! My “home alone kids” weren’t even here and if the camera were reviewed she would know that…. To respond to your response there are SEVERAL tenants that I have spoken with about the A/C issue and the lady I spoke with in the office did indeed say “what makes you think we didn’t” in regards to my question “y don’t you review the cameras” but it’s cute how whoever is responding “office staff?” Is defending all the negative comments so strongly instead of taking responsibility for the problems on the property and attempting to make it better for the tenants who pay so much to reside here
