I recently went to Build a Bear to make two very special bears for two very special people who lost their father my uncle this past summer. JePrece was absolutely the best she really made our experience great and I thank her for being so patient and understanding. She helped to record his voice and just listening to it and knowing someone so special was able to help me with this made my day. I really wanted to share what a great sad yet rewarding experience this was for me I hope my family enjoys hearing his voice over and over again forever. Thank you again JePrece

I went to this store location 30 minutes before closing time, and they were slammed. They had three employees working, but there’s one that stood out among them. I have never seen a young girl like Fae have as good customer service in today’s world as we encountered with her tonight. She helped us repair my daughter’s bear voice box that had gone out. She kept the packed store running smoothly, trying to get customers checked out at the register and being attentive to what other customers needed while helping and interacting with us. When you go into a store close to closing, most employees don’t care to help you because they are trying to close the store, but that was not the case with Fae. I hope she is working next time we come in with my daughter for her next bear!

Fae was sooo nice!! They were about to close but made an exception for me to get my first build a bear :) Tuxedo Sam i love u. Very nice and good convo too!

Fey was super helpful in getting the voice box changed out in my son’ bear. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and educated me on the bear process. She definitely has a P.H.D in bear surgery!

People are nice they could use extra. Staff store was clean well taken care of. Can’t even be mad realistically though they need about two more people working there was very kind and helpful. The birthday bear thing the total cost of your kids age. Straight Cap

They said it was against store policy to sell one of the graduation gowns on a display bear although they had six in various locations in store but none in stock. I called another location to verify if they had graduation gowns and was informed that if I asked for an outfit on display the store was supposed to sell it to me. When I explained what The Galleria staff said they were baffled and agreed to save a gown for me to come pick up. I would not suggest this location to anyone needing helpful service.

Today I went to gallerieas build a bear and Fae responded to my niece really rudely when she had a question she was wearing blue and white then went into our business when paying we were just trying to pay and then told my sister that there was no deals on the build a bears we were buying even though we never asked and she wasn’t even the cashier at the time although she did apologize she didn’t mean it and she still sounded a little bit rude.

Went on the 21st with my 3 friends since we had all never been to build-a-bear so they could get pokemon and I got Animal crossing. We were excited for the experience and I was choosing a sound with the worker (who was very lovely can’t remember her name though) and right before we got to stuffing it, the manager came up to her and was telling her to hurry and to calm down in a very rude tone and I even felt bad that she was getting in trouble for providing a fun experience. We realized that a mom behind us with her child complained about us I’m assuming because she had to wait behind us all even though we hadn’t even been there 2 minutes at the stuffing machine. So after she complained (and took a sneaky picture of us thinking we wouldn’t see), the manager took it upon herself to stuff the mom and her child’s stuffed animal even though they technically weren’t next in line when she could’ve just helped my friends and got the line moving. The manager was also very rude to other customers trying to get their toys stuffed and had an attitude with everyone besides the lady complaining. Was a cute and fun experience overall but wouldn’t ever recommend this location.

Was here yesterday, and the line was taking a little long so my two year old got off from his stroller, and started playing with the miniature basketball accessory that is made with foam while waiting, and I heard the staff behind me whispered “please don’t throw our stuffs”, and I told her it’s okay we’re buying it, and the staff passive aggressively said “well I just don’t want anyone to get hit” mind you it’s a two year old playing with a very small, foam ball trying to enjoy while waiting in line I can understand if my son was playing rough but he was just gently playing alone not even near anyone. I got so upset and had my daughter put all the toys back, and left. Never coming back at this location. (Photo for reference on how tiny the ball was.)

Went into thi store, on a Sunday afternoon, so it may have been considered busy to some. I'm an avid pokemon collector, so I was excited to see that they were having a 2 for 45 sale on some. I picked my 2, got in line to get them stuffed. There was a birthday party ahead of me, no big deal. What I didn't quite understand is the 3 other employees standing around on their phones at the cash register not paying any attention to the flow of customers coming in. Once I had gotten my pokemon stuffed, one of the employees, who hadn't said a word to me since I walked in, decided them to tell me that one of them wasn't part of the deal. So I told her while I pointed ay the wall with the skins where under both it had the sign 2 for 45. So, her response was; oh yeah, people move the signs. As she slides it back under where it was supposed to be, apparently. So, it was only after I was just about ready to check out is when they tell me that they are wrong. When I tell the cashier I don't want it anymore because of false advertising, the other employee just said that's fine, well just unstuff it anyways. If they had just paid attention to the job, instead of being on their phone, mistakes like this could be avoided.I feel like the customer service is lacking IMMENSELY at this location. Won't be going back.
