Customer service is THE WORST. So rude and indifferent and couldn't care less. They'll even look you in the eye just to let you know they know they're ignoring you. Save yourself and go anywhere else.

If you are selling, try any other means. The girl inspecting my clothes was dressed like a clown, beret, spiked leatherette bra over a hello kitty tee, etc. She refused anything of quality. Turned her nose up on a vintage Polo leather coat, in perfect condition. I sold it online for $450! Save your time, skip this place!!!!!!

I've loved Buffalo Exchange for a decade now and went there all the time in California to buy and sell. I went in to this location to sell two big bags this last spring. I was dressed very casually since we'd just gone on a hike (and I'm also a new mom lol). Everything in the bags was name brand and hardly worn. I've sold to a lot of consignment and resale shops so I totally understand the buying limitations and am usually not upset at all when things get passed over. But I kid you not -- the employee (who was dressed like she was about to go to an anime rave) looked me up and down, told me to wait right in front of her while she "looked through" all my items, then proceeded to take each one out one by one, fold them and put them back, and NOT LOOK AT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM. She was talking to me, asking me questions, looking me up and down the whole time, which is why I noticed her not looking at a single thing. Then after about 5 excruciating minutes of pretty much nonstop eye contact she said "I'm so sorry, but we weren't able to accept any of your items today". It was almost comical and I should've said something but I was so weirded out. On my way out I noticed everyone else was dressed similarly to her - part rave, part Halloween, and all the clothes in there are similar to that. Think sequined cropped tops with studded leather straps, old anime shirts, fluffy boots, etc. I promise I'm not a prude but I came out of there feeling like I just left an alternate universe. SO strange.

Brought in a bucket of clothes with my friend (who also had 2 containers with them). My friend went to look around while I waited for my turn and they then asked me to bring up my clothes but didn’t ask me my name or phone number.I assumed it was to clear up space in the isle but when the girl called for the next customer and I went up, the 2 boys (who were insulting our clothes) said they already went through my stuff and wouldn’t buy anything. My friend was then dead named when being called and they admitted to not even looking through one of the buckets. I have been trying to give this place a chance for a while now, but this experience shows that I should never come back, and that I am not even welcome to.They took my stuff and didn’t even go through it, my clothes are still folded in the bucket the way I had them, this is just sad. With this many 1 star reviews something needs to change or you’re going to eventually shut down. Staff is just rude and judgmental, might I also add they deadnamed my friend with me. So this isn’t even a safe space for anyone who isn’t straight. Please take some advice from these reviews and retrain your staff, or at least you could say hello when someone walks in. I didn’t come in near close by the way, I’d be a bit more understanding if they were closing in 10 minutes from the time I got there. It was just rudeness from the whole establishment.

I was actually looking forward to checking this place out. The selection is old and horrible plus overpriced. I recommend Plato's closet, its better. There are too many ppl working there nobody said hello to me or anything. Meanwhile I hear one girl training a girl telling her to greet everyone. They even made eye contact & didnt say anything to me.

Such a huge waste of time! If you're looking to sell, go anywhere else. Unfriendly employees who don't even bat an eye at what you bring in.

Do not go there. First and fore most, I saw a roach crawling across the floor not to mention it smells like an old dusty house inside the store. I walk up to the counter with a bag of clothes ready to sell and can’t even get the attention of the male and female behind the counter as they are flirting back and forth childishly. I took a bag full of designer name brand, and in style items into the store to sell - all in good to new condition. The lady at the desk told me they just took their last sale of the day DESPITE me calling ahead. I informed the woman at the desk of this and she huffed and puffed as she took my bag of stuff and sorted through it within seconds telling me they wanted none of it. What really gets me is the fact that these people say they buy based on what’s in style yet if you walk around and look at what’s on the racks it’s like your at thrift store during the age of the pilgrims. All unwearable stuff. Yet they won’t take basically brand new Steve Madden, urban outfitters, free people, Tory Burch, and Kate Spade items that I brought it. Let’s all come together to shut this place down. I know many of you are tired of taking good qualities items in to get nothing out of it. What’s the point of them even having the option to sell when they either take nothing or take something and offer you a penny for it. The clothes in here are down right hideous. If anything they need to identify as a costume shop at this point.

I have come in to shop here multiple times and each time I've had a bad experience. The clothes are overpriced and they never have a good selection of bigger sizes. The employees do not leave you alone and one time in particular one would not leave me alone about needing a basket when I was just looking. I have also brought a basket of in style clothes to sell, some brand new, some name brand, and I left with all of them. Not worth the trouble to come here.

Not worth the time to wait and have them pick through your stuff. It seems like they price things low if they want them. Not coming back to sell here. Better off going to crossroads down the street

I've always made a point to seek out Buffalo Exchanges because I am always excited when I find one. My complaint is this - I am used to BE saying no when I go to sell, and I don't complain. I've been in customer service all my life so I'm always kind.At this store, the picker went through my items right there, which is different from other stores I've been to, and [she] was scoffing at some items and staring me up and down without smiling or saying a word while I gave my information to [her] co-worker. It felt like I went to a party and was hazed out by a mean-girl. If you have ever worked in restaurants, you know that some personalities can't work with customers, and have to stay behind doors so they can be as rude as they want in private. I walked out without looking at or buying anything and I will not go back to the Dallas store. Openly intolerant is weird and uncomfortable, no thanks.

I took in two full baskets, overflowing with brand, new name, brand, clothing, and shoes, converse Nikes Victoria's Secret. Some of them still had tags on them. We're talking the girl takes both of my baskets to the back and brings me to empty baskets and I'm thinking OK I'm waiting for them to give me some money and she tells me no we're going to donate all of it. I said no you're not I want my things back. Needless to say I walked out with two baskets that we're halfway full at Best and I received one Nike slide back. . I don't even have both shoes! What am I supposed to do with one Nike slide? I need both of them to sell them or to at least wear them and those were brand new. I haven't worn them at all yet, she didn't ask me Do you want to sell or donate these things She just took them and I'm assuming that you know I'm gonna get some kind of money for the things but no she just brought me two empty baskets like shouldn't you have asked me before you just took them in the back and dumped them shouldn't you have taken my name down with some kind of ticket? I walked out of there with half of my belongings no money and I'm beyond pissed. And not to mention, I drove an hour to this location 47 minutes to be precise. They were super friendly and then they ripped me off and I bet if I walked in there today, I see something of mine either on her or on the shelves and I got no money whatsoever and only half of my belongings back!!!

A little pricey per most Buffalo exchange locations and a fair amount of fast fashion and damaged items but also some really unique vintage pieces like new docs at reasonable prices.

this was my first time going in and they had so much stuff...most was expensive but that was kinda expected cause yk it's buffalo exchange. the employees are what made me iffy about the store this one middle aged?? women just took the clothes out of my hand to start me a fitting room which was appreciated but don't just take things from me. the other ones seemed chill but this orange haired girl, the orange haired girl would just look at me weirdly. so that made my whole experience less than fun when i'm just trying to shop..won't be coming back.

Brought in two bags of clothes and they refused to take anything because "these type of business casual shirts aren't really moving for us" even though I had many other types of clothing (shorts with tags on, jeans, etc.) In the bag.Rude customer staff, and the manager was behaving in a strange way toward her employees.I love thrifting, but I'll never be back.
