Justin is such a great person. I came in close to closing time and told him I needed new blouses for work. He asked my style and found 2 shirts that perfectly fit it. He also went to his other store and brought over items. One of those being a cute dress. I was unable to buy the dress that night, so he held it for me. I sent him the money the next day and he is delivering it to my house. Above and beyond customer service that I have ever experienced! He just made a new customer for life!

The shop is cute and has nice finds but there is a woman with black hair who is prejudice. I picked up a small dog toy and was walking around with it in my hand, for all to see, and she asked “Are you going to buy that?” I said yes, to which she replied “then maybe you can leave it on the counter until you’re ready”. Meanwhile the group of white women wearing FAKE designer bags had all types of little things in their hand and weren’t asked to leave them anywhere. Baring in mind, I was wearing a TRANSPARENT bag and as a visitor from Manhattan, wouldn’t even THINK to steal a little dog toy? Like are you serious? A $20 toy?? Because you see black skin you assume the worst? Sad & ignorant, if only she knew !?
I hate to admit I bought the toy, if it wasn’t for it being a gift, I would’ve walked out then & there!
The gentleman with the glasses was pleasant, I even heard him giving advice to some other travelers. I hope he’s the manager

We stopped by Bishop Street Market yesterday and loved the fun selection of gifts. Franklin, the gentleman who assisted us, was delightful!

Friendly store staff but unfortunately I have to agree with many other reviews. We felt uncomfortable; we were followed around the entire time and at a few times felt bad or pressured almost to make a purchase. It wasn’t coming from a bad place I’m sure, but there’s a point where you should realize that it is making customers uncomfortable. Cute stuff, but the 3 stars is for the discomfort.

I try to support small, local businesses every chance that I get, but this shop was a huge disappointment. From the sign on the front door saying No Photography allowed, to sales people following you around, this was a very unpleasant experience. Offerings weren't anything that I wouldn't see at the Dallas Market (and they are happy to allow photography!) so I am not sure why they are so protective of their merchandise. As much as I would love to support a store like this, there are better places in Bishop Arts to shop where they will appreciate your business.

Ugh !! I hated my experience here. My friend and I were followed around the whole time and it was even awkward at some points because we could feel them staring at us! Weird and a bit rude… won’t be back

Cute shop with random trinkets, clothes, games, etc. A woman uncomfortably kept following my friend around the store, so we set our things down and left (night of 12/23/23). And in turn, no sort of apologetic behavior in response for following people around (NOT just standing and roaming the store, but following). Staying out from behind the counter and staying off your phone, does not mean you need to follow customers around constantly.

BEWARE! The items in this store are extremely overpriced and they won't let you return things and don't have the "All sales final" policy posted anywhere except at the bottom of the receipt. I bought a cape and some shirts and when I got home and tried the items on the chemicals from the factory they were made in caused an allergic reaction (nose running, watery eyes, throat closing up) and my mom had the same reaction as well. The cape did not have a tag that states the materials of the fabric or the country where it was made. It's as if they removed it. When I went to return the items the staff got really worked up and emotional about it and they sent a manager to talk to me and I think she was just told to tell me she wasn't going to refund my items no matter what. (I had receipts, all price tags were attached, and it was within a week of purchase.) I told her I had a reaction to the clothes and she said she wasn't going to question if my reaction was real or not but no one has ever had any problems with their clothes before. Then she asked me "What's the REAL reason you want to return these items???" I said, "They made me sick?!?!" That seems like a reasonable reason to return something. I also told her that if they don't allow returns they should tell people before they buy things. She said I would have known if I would have reviewed the bottom of the receipt. I asked her how seeing the policy on the receipt would have helped me know not to buy the item since you don't get a receipt until after you buy the item. How would that change anything? She goes, "Well, it wouldn't. It' wouldn't matter because you would have already bought it and all sales are final." I asked, "If I asked for a return immediately after being given the receipt and seeing the fine print on the bottom would I have been able to get a refund?" She said no and realized what she was saying did not make any sense. Then said they aren't required to have the policy posted anywhere in the store. I informed her that they absolutely are. By law. Then she said other shops around here don't allow returns and don't have signs posted. I said, "Well that is illegal." She said she didn't know anything about that and wasn't going to look into it. Eventually they agreed to give me store credit and they said the owner would call me and let me know if they decided to refund my money or not but it's been several weeks and I haven't gotten a call. No surprise there. After this experience I never want to buy anything from this store or their other stores (Houss on Bishop and Home on Bishop). **UPDATE** a few days ago I saw the EXACT same cape I purchased from their store for $170 (the item that did not have a factory tag) on amazon for $45. BEWARE OF THIS STORE!!!

Such rude staff (especially the one guy working there) - they’re so in your face trying to push things on you. Go to the other stores in the street and pass this one.

You were not allowed to take any pictures. Everything seemed overpriced for what it was
