I am one of those people that tries to keep brick and mortar shops open, I try to not buy things online, but the customer service in this place has me thinking otherwise. Brought a faulty battery back that I had bought a few months before, apparently it was a top of the range battery that cost much more than many equivalents online, it didn’t even last a few months and the manager refused to replace it. Autozone just lost a life long customer.

Came here a month ago to get windshield wipers for front and back. Guy was super rude didn’t speak to me at all. Back one has never worked right. Went back next day and guy said it’s working now. It wasn’t Back again today. Manager said that’s why I don’t like them to do back windows. Then he should have said that instead of selling me 80 worth of wipers. Now I’m waiting for another worker to get done to look at it. So frustrating when I spend a lot of money. New guy spent several minutes and then says well nothing I can do??? How about replace it? So unprofessional.

Long lines are just too common. The staff works hard to assist, but it's not enough of them. I often leave and go to another auto parts store or Walmart. I really don't like doing that.

Angel had a tricky job with a Honda HR-V with a *very* corroded battery but persevered through hot temps and with us rapidly losing the daylight to get it replaced with a new one. He made a great recommendation for us at a few different price points, and was super kind throughout the job. Couldn’t be happier with what could’ve been a really tough situation.

I originally went to this Autozone on Inwood for a new car battery and to get it replaced. Unfortunately Angel, the employee that was helping me, informed me they didn’t have it in stock and told me to go to the Autozone on 3701 northwest hwy for the battery. I purchased the battery from The autozone on 3701 northwest hwy, but they refused to change the car battery for me. They said they “don’t work on cars”, which was odd because I’ve always had Autozone workers change my batteries for me. I called the Autozone I originally went to on Inwood and Angel graciously agreed to work on my car and stated that it’s not a problem. I am very thankful and grateful to Angel at Inwood’s Autozone for the amazing service.

The customer service here is trash ? the young one told me my battery was good, that i had a few more months with it(my car kept needing a jump to start) he acted as if he was checking when he placed the positive clamp on the negative(i had to inform him that was the wrong way)??♀️then he tells me its probably my alternator, ok, i asked him could he check it he said yes then said he couldn't. ? I had to jump start my own car while he watched me! U could imagine my frustration atp.
I was asking questions and they weren't helping with any solutions. No customers were in the store and the older gentleman still wouldn't even come out to help..."you'll have to wait i WAS with a customer" he said, NOBODY WAS IN THE STORE atp. Very unsatisfactory. He never came to my aid. & The younger guy definitely doesn't know what he's doing!
The customers that did come felt bad for me & was helping me more. Smh
Come to find out my battery was about to blow, smoking and leaking I found out after I drove it to another autozone by my house who actually helped me! A simple battery replacement was all i needed! Big thanks to them guys!

I had a dead car battery recently when I was in Dallas for a weekend trip. Luis and the guys at AutoZone on Inwood took great care of me. Changed my battery out in the heavy rain without complaint and got me back on my way in no time!! Thanks!!

I stopped by the Inwood location to buy a battery. Dee Dee came out to check the size of my battery and ended up checking it to see if I needed a new one. I didn't. I did need a missing mounting screw. She sent me to Elliots Hardware to find it... I did. Dee Dee was knowledgeable, friendly and (in my opinion) went out of her way to help a customer who was out of her depth. What an asset she is to the Auto Zone Company.
