I scheduled for moving from Michigan to Texas for June 10-11. They called me on June 9 and scheduled it for June 10 between 9-12 am. Unfortunately, they did not show up and did not response my calls. They sent a truck on June 14 and asked me for more than 1200$ more. I did not let them to load my stuffs.

Arrived 3 days late to pick up.Did not blanket wrap.Damaged 63 pieces of fine furniture. Suppose to move 11,000 lbs. Truck to small. Moved 7000 and did not reimburse for lost weight.Paid only $78.00 for extensive damage.Arrived week later than scheduled with no notification.Terrible incompetent labor. One left and we waited another day for someone else to show up.

Crooks, criminals and thieves! Do not use this company for anything you are sure to regret it! Our furniture was supposed to be delivered within 48 hours we received it 3 weeks later and the crooks tried to make us pay $200 more than what we owed! And when our belongings finally came what wasn't broken or damaged just wasn't there at all! Please choose another company save yourself the mental anguish! And response to the lie below we were absolutely customers and would be more than happy to show receipts. Did I mention they were liars also. Smh

Worst movers ever, should have known when they showed up with a case of beer on the console of a rented truck Everything broken scratched ripped things missing,no consideration for things just hurled into truck. . Price was not cheap either to warrant such tratment

Worst experience ever. This is our first out of state move. They are very rude. They are supposed to deliver on a certain date but they said they arrived early and want to deliver it. We did not move to our destination, so we said we cant take the delivery. They said they will charge us for keeping the furniture in the truck. When we tried to argue, the person at the office threatened “Do you want your furniture or not“. We had ask my nephew get there and took the delivery.They lost my furniture and 2 weeks later bring them.still lost a few tools. Will not recommend them to any one

Worst experience. This company is a scam. Do NOT use if you like your belongings. They lie, steal, don't return phone calls, damage your property, then won't reimburse you.
And before this guy says I was not a customer, I have proof that I was indeed a customer. Go look on their FB page. All the good reviews were fake profiles. And all the bad reviews were real people.

DO NOT use this company unless you want your items damaged and like not receiving your items. WORST service ever!!! Still missing an item and no one ever returns my calls. I packed and marked my belongings as requested and you can tell they didn't follow any instructions they asked for. No one should give this company any business. I wish I could give negative stars.

These people are snakes was told on the phone my money would be refunded if I was unable to move the person I was buying the house from backed out of the sale one day before signing they told me after that that my down payment was not going to to be refunded when I clearly asked them before I put down the deposit can I get my deposit back and they told me sure that was in April they didn't move me I don't understand why I should have lose my deposit I have a daughter with down syndrome and I'm recovering from throat cancer if you're thinking about using these people to move think again bunch of liars and low life people and they are probably put some lies about this pistol but it's all true be especially aware of a smooth talker named CHRIS sounds so nice until you want something avoided my calls for months left voicemails for months and was even told he didn't work there anymore get anybody else beside AMERICAN EAGLE A WHOLE LOT OF LIARS it clearly says in the contract as long as you cancel prior to the move youre deposit would be refunded was set to move Thursday called them the Monday before the move now their saying I changed the date totally untrue Luke all their other complaints they will probably say this is not our customer don't know who this is if you read the complaints and their replies to all of them you will see what kind of of people you're dealing with ???

The representative was quick and sent the information needed. Once the online furniture assessment was complete, the representative (Chris) followed up and sent a quote that was well within my budget. So far, American Eagle Moving has been an excellent company. We will wait and see how the actual move goes.
Now that the move has occurred, I can give an update for my experience.
1. The movers who came to pick up my furniture were respectful, careful and hard working.
2. The movers who came to drop of my furniture at my new place were respectful, careful and hard working.
I have NO complaint about these individuals. However, I would not recommend this company to others nor will I use them again. This is because of the following:
1. I was called by dispatch on one day stating that the movers would arrive to pickup my furniture on the next day. Nobody showed up, so I called Chris late in the afternoon. He did not see that a pickup had every been arranged. However, he stated that my stuff would be picked up in the next couple of days. Again, nobody showed up. On the fourth iteration of this and with me in tears, I finally got an ETA for a pickup.
2. While the stuff had been carefully loaded, when it arrived in New York, it had obviously been moved to a new truck and that was NOT done carefully. Boxes were crushed. A box freezer was placed on the top of the stack, while a large TV was placed on the bottom of the stack. The freezer works, although it is scratched up. I have not yet unboxed the TV. The stand for my coffee table was broken (and it is an family heirloom). However, I can fix it. There is a whole through one of my office chairs, but it is not an expensive chair. One of my living room chairs had a tear that I was able to fix. Many boxes have been crushed.
3. NOBODY called me and told me that I owed additional money because I had gone over the alotted square feet. Therefore, when the movers showed up early in the morning, I was told that I needed to give them nearly $1k in cash, which I obviously did not have on me. Therefore, I had to call Chris (or Luke) and get the account information to wire money to the company. Then we all had to wait over two hours until the wire could be confirmed so that the movers could start unloading. I understand that I would owe if I went over the cubic feet that I paid for, although I have no way to confirm that I did. However, I should have been called several weeks ago and notified of this so that I could have cash on hand to pay. This was very POORLY done.
Thus, I got a budget move. My stuff went from one place to another, but some was damaged in the process. In the future, I will pay more to get a better move from a certified company. I will not use this company again.

This mover was the second mover involved. A moving broker set up the move and another mover loaded a truck and stored it in Albuquerque. From there we told this mover would deliver it to Henderson NV . This is only an 8 hour drive. After a week and a half waiting for our stuff we had to pay another 950.00 to have it delivered in less than a month as this is what the contract allows. We finally got our stuff and I can honestly say there was not a piece of furniture that was not scratched and dinged. My beautiful Cherry bedroom set was in near perfect shape before the move I can't even look at it now. My dryer looks like someone took a chain to it. We were told when the stuff was put on the truck originally that it would not be taken off until it got to our house. Clearly that was not the case. One of the few things I really cherished was some n- scale trains left to me by my father. The box came smashed with most of the trains broken or gone. So I have train tracks with nothing to run on them. We had glassware stored in heavy duty storage containers. The boxes all made it but were really smashed up. Several items were missing from these boxes that were not sealed with tape. We paid for insurance but nobody is responding as to how to collect.

A big thank you to Dewayne and David for showing up and getting the job done. They are hard workers and took really good care of my stuff. I highly recommend this company and these two guys. They really did an amazing Job.

DO NOT USE them. They stole half my stuff and broke most of what left. I had over 14k in damages and they tried to offer me $100 thru their third party claim dept. I still fighting them six months later.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Where do I even start??!...we moved from out of state. Upon picking up our items they dropped our new refrigerator on the cement, turned it upside down and then loaded on the truck. Arrived obviously with severe dents and scratches and now makes loud noises. They damaged so many items..my elliptical has a side panel missing and the wheel is bent so no longer works. 4 bicycles with broken cables and scratches. My husbands large tool box arrived was lying on its side and missing a wheel with large scratches and dents. Boxes and totes were crushed upon arrival some even wet. Then they had the audacity to charge us more money before unloading at our new residence. The agent who worked with us said he would help us file a claim but the chicken sh*t hasn't returned any calls. We have filed a claim so we will see how this turn out. After looking at the other reviews we aren't expecting much. This is the worst company I have ever used. Very poor service and negligence. Please don't be another victim, find another company!!! This company has a F rating through the Dallas BBB.
