I haven't been in an Aldis yet that I don't love. I always find great items to buy and the fruit, vegetables, and meats are always fresh. I must admit, I hit the merchandise first since I always find something to buy.
To only have three employees in the store at one given time: these guys not only work hard and with efficiency, but more importantly, keeps the line moving never a situation like a General Dollar, Dollar Tree or even Walmart, where the lines are exceptionally long all the time. And l must mention the candles: smells better than that "big store in the plazas",lasts longer and the prices are much cheaper too. (Oh, I just noticed one of those stores just moved down the block from Aldis. Must be losing money and have finally taken notice.)

Today, I had one of the worst experiences shopping at Aldi. I’d said before that I was going to stop shopping there, because they wait until the line is extremely long before they ring for help. The manager and the staff are rude. I was in line and I witnessed people jump in front of an elderly lady. So, the lady got in the same line as me. The manager told the cashier in my line to go on break after she checked out the lady immediately behind and he told the elderly lady that she had to go to the end of the other line. Mind you , the lady had about five items. I told the cashier what happened and they didn’t have to be rude to the lady. Then, the cashier became upset and she started yelling at me. She and I had an exchange and she told me that she could talk to me however she wanted. How’s that for customer service? The manager watched the whole scene play out and he never intervened. When companies don’t value me, I don’t patronize them. I rather pay more for a better experience.
