The guy who works here sucks. My drivers license expired so I tried to use my temporary paper license from my renewal since the new card hasn’t arrived yet. He wouldn’t allow that. He also wouldn’t allow me to use my US PASSPORT to buy a six pack of beer. Freakin loser

I've been to several locations including this one since moving to Dallas, and it's just not the same friendly 7-Eleven that I remember from years ago. Service is mediocre and prices are ridiculous...moving forward with alternatives that provide better service and prices, while still offering the same "convenience" as 7-Eleven.

Watch pricing!!! I had five items where the price at checkout was much higher than the advertised special price. I purchased six items and five were incorrect. I purchased two sets of "buy two & get a discount price" and they all scanned for the full single price. The fifth item was just wrong and scanned for 50% more. This fifth item got my attention and I then checked the whole receipt to discover more mistakes. Based on the reaction of the staff I suspect this was intentional as most people don't check their receipts carefully when you're spending less than $20 at checkout. Caveat Emptor!

Love that my 7-11 now carries Nectar Girl Margarita mix, Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix and Billy Goat Potato Chips. Saves me a trip to the grocery store!

Don't know what to particularly say about 7 Eleven except it is clean and nice and they have slurpees. This is the only 7 Eleven location that I can think of that doesn't sell gas. I guess all the SMU students keep it in business. This one does seem as nice and clean as any I have been in.

I visited University Park to visit my uncle and spend some time with his boys. The youngest, Spencer, always gets excited when I come by. "Let's go for a walk, Chris," he tells me, then grabs his Razor scooter. Cheater. After cruising the mean streets of University Park, I thought it was time for a Coke Slurpee. I let Spencer cruise two house lengths ahead of me as we made our way to the 7-Eleven on Hillcrest. Unlike a lot of 7-Elevens, this place had twelve different flavors of Slurpees, and all were in working order. While I went with Coke, Spencer decided he would put a little bit of everything in his cup. Awesome. I gave Spencer three dollars to pay for our drinks, and he was a bit shy about doing so. The clerk was foreign but extremely friendly. With a smile, he took the money from Spencer and asked him, "how much change?" He was taking an effort to try to teach Spencer a lesson in math and money. That's great because my last math lesson with Spencer did not work out so well. Earlier in the week, I wrote down my six-year-old cousin Spencer's answer to 4x2 in an attempt to start teaching him the concept of division. When I wrote down the problem "8/4", I handed him the paper. He immediately started writing his answer and promptly handed me this card back with a smirk on his face. Still, mega kudos to the guy behind the counter who made an attempt to get Spencer to do some thinking. We were happy to make the trip back to his house ten houses down and enjoy our perfectly prepared Slurpees. This is one 7-Eleven that I will be more than happy to visit again.
