Walgreens Pharmacy has mixed reviews from customers. Recently, the cigarette smell has become less noticeable, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. The pharmacy team, especially the pharmacy technicians and manager, work very hard to get customers in and out quickly, even during long lines. They are especially kind to children, with some staff members being described as very sweet and helpful. The pharmacy staff also assisted with verifying insurance for a COVID booster shot, going out of their way to help when there was difficulty. However, customers often experience long wait times, both in line and on the phone, due to being understaffed and poor management. Some mention that the pharmacy is slow and that wait times on hold can be frustrating, although recent improvements like a wait list have been helpful. Overall, while the staff are friendly and do their best, issues with staffing and management can cause delays and less-than-perfect service.
The cigarette smell has not been as noticeable recently in the past few months. I have no problems with Walgreens. They are a bit slower lately, but that is the parent company's fault for being unwilling to hire more people in the pharmacy.

Got my covid booster. The clerk was having a hard time verifying my insurance. She declined mine and my wife's insurance and we were getting ready to walk but another employee intervened. She verified my insurance and I got jabbed.
