I was nervous coming in for my first time, and the staff was so great. Stephanie and Javier are amazing! Stephanie did my intake and got me laughing to take my mind off it, and I told Javier I was uneasy about blood so he set me up right and even covered my arm and the blood bags so I didn’t have to see anything. Great experience!

The Fairfield/Cypress location of the Blood Center is awesome! I have the app so I make my appointment and answer my questions online. They are always ready for me as soon as I arrive. The check in staff is so efficient and kind. The phlebotomists are so personable and professional. I love to hear when they are chatting with the donors about their families, because they have made an effort to get to know the "regulars.". The facility is absolutely organized and spotless. The staff makes me feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated. This is my favorite place to donate! I highly recommend that everyone that is able to donate try this office!

The nurses NEVER take my blood pressure correct. I come here often and typically I’m turned away because they messed up my reading. This time was the last straw. The new employe did not take my blood pressure correctly and then used those numbers as my first reading. She stopped half way through and started again but not properly. Of course my blood started to go up after that since they didn’t care to listen to my complaint. No one person cared to hear what I had to say. This place is constantly wasting my time and turning me away because they don’t do blood pressure correct.

Today would've been my first donation at this location since moving out to Cypress. There is a mixup of some great proportion because I was scheduled to donate in February and they called me and said I had to cancel because I wasn't eligible then they called me back and said oh yes you are eligible. I set an appointment for today and show up and I'm told once again that I'm not eligible, the girl manning the front desk told me she called me yesterday and left a voicemail saying that I was not eligible... That is untrue because I don't have voicemail set up on my phone. She is just plain telling a lie, the shitty part here is that she was very adamant about her attempt to call me... Really puts off a bad vibe for this location. I guess I will drive my self all the way back down to the Westheimer location because at least those people are nice sorry cypress... You're too bougie for me.

Excellent experience today. Staff was great. Christina Mathews drained my blood and was super friendly and made my experience pain free and enjoyable. She deserves a month off with pay. Lol. Thank you Christina and the rest of the staff. ????

11.22.22I know I wrote a review for them a few months ago but I don't see it anywhere. So here I go again. The staff are very friendly. They all seem to work together like a well oiled machine. Last time I donated platelets and it took about 40 minutes. But today I donated whole blood and it took around 8 minutes. (Can you spare 8 minutes to help someone with cancer...maybe a sick child???) (say yes.) They always have "freebies" for donating. Today I received a blanket.
