Believe me when i tell you about what they did to me there. Take the comments very seriously. If they come after me, i will take legal action, because i have medical records proving that i have coronary disease. Not only is this Hospital very bad. My father died in the ER right in front of me in July 2019 of a heart attack. When he got to ER, they refused to let me stand outside of the ER room and asked me to leave and threatened to call security on me to have me arrested. Thats my father, i told the nurse, i don't care she says, leave or i will call security and have you arrested. I told them that my father is dying and now you are threating to have me arrested. I warned her that legal action will come if she does that. She backed off. When i heard the computer/monitor go off, i knew it was over, the Female Dr walks out, looking at me, asking me i was his son, i said yes, she said, you need leave right not, and not be here. I said that is my father, it is my RIGHT, YES, MY RIGHT TO WITNESS THE DEATH OF MY FATHER and do not violate my constitutional rights and threaten me. i stay right here. I then i had to walk in because they knew this time that i was not a person to f....k with and let me see him. Don't let the fake 5 star reviews fool you. Those review are fake. NIce try HCA, your not fooling anyone anymore. THIS IS 100$ real. Now the public knows the truth.

I no longer consider this a caring, skilled hospital and would avoid taking any of your loved ones there.

Came here after 3 hours of abdominal pain. When the Dr on call took a look at me he immmediately accused me of being on drugs when I was simply tired and in pain. I left immediately after that to go else where because I was concerned for the the quality of care I would be receiving.

Do NOT go here. I went into the er last night and the triage nurses are absolute shit. They are a bunch of sassy bitches that 'FORGOT A NEEDLE IN MY ROOM' And came in frantically searching the bed i was laying in for this needle. That was the first red flag. Then the "Doctor" took 4 hours to get the lab results to me BUT i had already received the results in my email and was able to view that 2 hours before we were RELEASED. AND THEN the "doctor" Prescribed me apparently too much medicine that my insurance won't even cover so i can't even go pick it up. Absolutely the worse experience i've ever had at any type of doctors or hospital. My mother was a patient here for a long time and it makes me wonder how much she must have been mistreated (she died btw) .

12.13.23 I went to go see a loved one in the hospital. When I first walked in I was impressed by the smell. It smelled so fresh and clean. It did not have that medicine/rubbing alcohol smell that you normally get at a hospital. There was a huge beautiful Christmas tree at the entrance and everything was so tidy. We went up to the sixth floor and the staff were so polite to us. An RN named Ashley O. came in to check on our loved one and she was incredible. The tender love and care she gave (to our loved one) was touching to both me and my husband. Thank You Ashley O. You're a rockstar!

What a joke of a hospital. My mom was released at 3am with nowhere to go. They said it wasn't their problem. I will be contacting every news channel I can and sharing my awful experiences. This isn't the 1st time they have done this. I will never go back and don't recommend this hospital to anyone. Nurses are rude and the courtesy officials are a joke. Now it's 40 degrees outside and my 76yr old mom is in the middle of the road. Horrible.....

I spent one full day after a "cardiac scare" at HCA in a state of anxiety and now I can easily say every person/staff I encountered was amazing. Everyone who transported me to the various tests was fun and efficient! Everyone who worked in the various cardiac units were equally efficient and easy to work with. The entire nursing staff, cleaning staff, food services on the 3rd floor helped, instructed, comforted and earned my heartfelt gratitude for helping me navigate the maze of unfamiliar and potentially "scary" tests and instructions. I hope to never have to see any of them ever again, but despite saying that, I welcome to chance now to thank and praise them for their hard work, professionalism and dedication to patient care.

I've only been into the hospital a few times, but Clarissa (at the registration desk) greets me by name and a wonderful smile. She makes my visits much more relaxing. Thank you Clarissa.

"I'm so thankful for the care I've received at the Wound Care Center. Doctor Mir Ali is not only a skillful healer, but a good man, and the staff he has assembled are the best I've ever encountered. My condition not only caused physical pain, but long term chronic suffering that affected my whole being. The Wound Care Center understands this, and treats the whole person. I'm truly grateful for their amazing care!"

Terrible care for my mom. If we weren't here daily asking for the care she is supposed to be getting she wouldn't have gotten it. Don't bring your loved ones here

Just had a pacemaker installed. Staff was courteous and professional. Lunch was actually very good. This is the 4th procedure I've had here and they all rate 5 stars!

BEWARE!!! DO NOT COME HERE. MOST OF THE PEOPLE LEAVING RECENT 5 STAR REVIEWS WORK AT HCA. Also, don't get sick on a weekend and come here because they will not have enough nurses working to receive even half the proper care they should. There were only 3 nurses working on the entire floor during the weekend! Do they think people do not get sick on weekends?! Before reading, imagine this happening to your loved one. My parents came here mistakingly AGAIN, thinking that during the previous transition, things had gotten a lot better. WRONG!!!! I wasn't there to talk sense into them! After the last incident with my mom, my dad has been feeling sick for some time, and his Dr. was said to have been at this hospital. They found out that his GI didn't perform surgeries, although they were happy that all of his records were here and the reason why they decided to admit him. After my dad was admitted to the hospital, we found out he needed surgery to remove his gallbladder due to gall stones. The first day before the surgery, he was set up to be given a high dose of antibiotics via IV. TELL ME WHY HE DIDN'T RECEIVE IV THE ENTIRE DAY UNTIL HOURS BEFORE HIS SURGERY. The antibiotics were supposed to help with his fever and the high levels of inflammation before surgery. He was in pain the entire day even with receiving morphine. He was still running a fever and lethargic. I WAS THE ONE WHO NOTICED THE IV WAS NOT BEING ADMINISTIRED. We had 2 INCOMPETENT NURSES LOOK AT THE MACHINE 3 TIMES, and didnt notice it was still not working. Because of this, his gall bladder was so inflamed during surgery that it caused the surgery to be more complicated than anticipated. Did I mention my dad is diabetic with heart issues!? After receiving his antibiotics, his face was no longer red, his fever went down along with his BP from the pain when he first got there. Everything began to subside almost an hour after receiving the antibiotics. The surgeon said his gallbladder was so inflamed it almost perforated. I thought it was smooth sailing after the surgery.. WRONG. The day after his surgery, he told me his arm was burning, so another nurse came in and flushed his arm (which our actual nurse did not do before giving him his antibiotics). However, NO ONE REALISED HIS IV CAME OUT AND WAS LEAKING ALL OVER HIS BED for a couple of hours. I should have known to pick up the blankets and look over him with a fine tooth comb! I tell you what.. I couldn't sleep while he was at HCA, and I am hoping that he will fully recover. They had to send him home with a drain and everything. **side note- our surgeon seemed very nice, and it wasn't his fault that my dad was not given proper medications before his surgery. Out of 6 nurses during our stay, 2 were memorable and good. Our favorite was Alana and wish we could have had her before and after his surgery. (Protect her at all costs) Again, this hospital is rated so poorly for a reason. Please think before coming here! OR just request Alana's schedule and make sure you get sick only on the days she works. Otherwise, RUN the other way!!!!

With the exception of a few nurses and maybe one doctor - this "hospital" has the most inept staff I've ever seen. ER staff more interested in their phones, than the people in the waiting area. No empathy for patients - procedures done with no anesthesia due to improperly inserted IV. Patient came back from procedures with wounds on foot. Staff unaware of how to prep for procedures. Patient received none of their maintenance medications while here for 6 days. No antibiotics or CT scans for patient with diverticulosis & diverticulitis & UTI. Patient discharged with no concise instructions other than come back when you are bleeding. Next time we will go to a real hospital.

I will forever be grateful for the care my husband was given in this hospital - HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress. All the nurses on third floor, Intermediate Care, and ICU were so kind and caring, attending to my husband's every need and were very encouraging to him. They took time to explain things to him and he was comfortable being cared for by them. The doctors were kind and professional and returned calls immediately when the nurses called them concerning him. Thank you HCAHouston North Cypress.
