Came in for a leaking tire. Ended up needing a new one. When I picked up the vehicle the tire was at ~50psi and my rim was damaged. They committed to fixing the rim but now I’m out $250 for a new tire and can’t use my vehicle for two days while they send it off for repair.

Victoria is great. Their techs took photos of air filter to validate it needed replacing but no pressure to change it. Hooked me up with coupon on the oil change and provided complimentary Carfax report of all my records of services from any shop that reports to Carfax. Pleasantly surprised and are reasonably priced (and I shop price)

I highly recommend Sun Auto on Telge. While there are several locations in Cypress, this one stands out as the BEST! The Store Manager, Victoria, is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate customers and always offers the best price. Her dedication truly makes a difference!

BE WARNED - During a car inspection visit, my son’s car was driven by the Sun Auto employee to a local gas station so he could buy chips and a drink! The employee left the receipt in my son’s car. When my son approached the manager about his car being taken off the property without permission, the manager refunded the inspection fee and said “sorry”. ?
We were not customers before this, and definitely won’t be customers after!
Edited to add: thank you for your reply. We did address the issue in person with a manager, and also called a few weeks later, but the person on the phone who identified themselves as a manager DENIED the event happened. He basically said I was a liar and claimed no one would ever take a car off property without permission.

Since my last review I've been back twice and will never go back to this location again.
A few months back, I stopped in for a state inspection and they told me they couldn't do it because the guy qualified to do them was not there. Seemed weird to me, but I said ok and just went to the next shop down the road.
Yesterday I called and asked if they could patch a tire that had a nail in it. I was told sure and that it would be no more than $20. I dropped the car off, but now they said it would be $30 and the server manager started talking about unless it was a sidewall damage. I knew the sidewall was fine, the screw that was in the tire was clearly visible in the tread. I left to run some errands. They sent a text a couple of hours latter and claimed the tire was not patchable and would need to be replaced. They also called but i ignored the call. I knew I was being scammed. On the way over to pick the care up, got another call and this time I answered. I listened to the claim the tire needed to be replaced and I simply responded that I did not agree with their diagnosis and was coming to pick up the vehicle. I arrived a couple of minutes latter to pick up the car. The service manager started to go on and on about nonexistent sidewall damage and the training he'd ben to that made him an expert. I asked him to stop, that I was picking up the car and I would take it to somebody else. He continued his lecture and I again told him to stop, I didn't believe him. The tech brought the car around, I thanked the tech, took the key and left. This morning I went to VAQUERO & Son’s Tire Shop on Spring Cypress and had the tire repaired in no time for $15. I asked about the sidewall and the gentleman who repaired the tire explained that there was no damage to the sidewall and that the screw had barely penetrated the tire.
After this experience my conclusion is that the Sun Auto team has been trained to look for opportunities to pump up revenue rather than place the customer's interests first. VAQUERO & Son’s Tire Shop doesn't look like much, but they had my back and I appreciate the service they performed. Next time I need tires or tire service, I'll go to them first.

Today was my first time visiting for a oil change and the service was so fast and understandable. The front desk lady was top notch with explaining things to me. Definitely will be going back soon.
