Attitude from employee at checking leaving much to be desire. Starting by the fact of him not answering a question regarding passing state inspection and instead saying now you are telling me how to do my Job? And employee stating he is the owner and not wanting to provide information of the owner.

This auto shop only used to be 4-5 stars. The Telge one and House and Hahl (went in for an engine light on and then they had to give the double rate amount on just trying to replace the rear brakes or hub bearings, not both like they were pricing it at, ones try and charge different, but the Telge
One got away with it on my old car, a ‘10 Ford Focus for the rear hub bearings and drum brakes replaced completely. The north barker cypress one didn’t know how to evaluate correctly and determine I needed a transmission rebuild and they probably would have gotten to do it if they had actually figured that out instead of somewhere else. They just thought it needed new, and a different kind, or not red normal, transmission fluid instead of the synthetic kind. ? I don’t even know if that’s all it took to end up messing up the transmission or not.

I visited this auto service for a State Inspection and was informed that my wipers and serpentine belt needed replacement. They quoted me $308 for the service, which I agreed to. However, after questioning the necessity of replacing the serpentine belt, they passed the inspection without actually replacing it. The wiper replacement alone ended up costing me around $80. This experience is a prime example of why the state is moving away from requiring inspections. I do not recommend this place at all.

We had a great experience with Sun Auto. Terence took excellent care of us and our car. He helped us avoid what could have been a catastrophic issue- and found what another place missed. He made the repairs on our VW- and got us back in the road same day. Will definitely use them in the future.

Terrance Hicks is just wonderful, very personable. I took my granddaughter to get her car ? inspected, and basically get her acquainted with an auto shop that she can trust for future auto maintenance on her car, becoming a new driver comes with responsibility. And I'm confident in knowing Terrace will see that she can comfortably trust him and the Sun Auto location on House & Hahl, for her car needs, be it yearly maintenance, expections and etc.

I sent my daughter to take her car for her state inspection. Being her first time she was nervous. They staff was very helpful and explained everything to her. They were also very quick and took her in right away.
