This school is terrible. The teachers routinely ignored our child, did not engage He. and left her completely by himself most of the day. The teachers even ignored us, the parents, and refused to discuss our child without a formal appointment. This was an extremely cold. negative enviroment. The philosophy of the school seems to be to leave the kids alone to teach themselves and if they do not flourish then that is the kid`s problem. The teachers and administration are arrogant adn unhelful. WHAT A HORRIBLE PLACE. miss Janet (Maple room)constantly manipulates the children, yells at them and treats them badly. and it seems that this is seen as very normal by the director miss Marta who does nothing to fully investigate what happened. Very dissapointed!

My son was shy and had a hard time adjusting to his new school. The school helped him tremendously and every single person was available to help put my mind at ease. He has started kindergarten now and I know he has the right foundation from Longwood. We love all the teachers and admin! If we had another child we would not hesitate to send him/her to Longwood! Thank you each and every one of you!!!!!

My daughter Ruby started here when she was 3 months old. Unfortunately we moved when she was 18 months or we would still be there!I loved the environment and activities. I also liked that many members of staff had been there for years! It was so wonderful to have a place to drop your child off and not have to worry about her. Her teachers genuinely cared for her. We miss them!

Hands down, the best schooling experience for my son. The staff truly cares about the kids. I felt like they took the time to get to know my son and us as a family. We relocated and sadly had to leave. We have found nothing close to Longwood since. They set the bar high for my expectations and what a school should offer. I would recommend Longwood to anyone.

Both of our boys started at Longwood Montessori as infants and stayed there through Primary. We could not have asked for better teachers and staff to play such a huge role in our children's lives. The children are taught not only traditional educational material, but also concepts like kindness and peace. It is a wonderful school, and a great environment.

Longwood Montessori has been a home away from home for our family. The incredible staff and wonderful curriculum stays true to the culture of Montessori. I couldn’t be more grateful for the environment Petra and Jeaneth have provided for my child’s continued growth and learning!

I cannot say enough good things about Longwood. Our kids have been through the infant, toddler and primary programs at Longwood over the last 4 years. The teachers are caring and supportive of the kids. The environment is wonderful and there's an incredible amount of learning going on. We recently had to move out of state, and we miss this school and the teachers so much. They truly are family! The Montessori method has been so wonderful for our kids in their development. My son will be starting kindergarten in the fall, and one of his new daycare teachers made a comment that he's much further along than his peers with his letters and numbers.

We spent 4 years at Longwood and loved every minute of it. My daughter truly enjoyed going to school every day. All the teachers are really special. I am mostly thankful for how prepared she is to enter kindergarten this year. She has gained a ton of knowledge, and I know she will continue to do well because of her start at Longwood.

My 3yo son has been at Longwood since he was 10 weeks old, and he will be here until he ages out! The school's staff has always made my husband and me feel secure and confident that he is safe, loved, nurtured, and well-educated. Also, they really practice the Montessori method in everything they do, and the kids have opportunities to explore and develop in ways that other schools don't offer. I'm always impressed with his new skills and work. I encourage your family to check out Longwood and see how special it really is.

I love this school, the staff has stayed consistent for at least 10 years if not more, which means they are doing things right. As for my child who couldn't be happier, every day he walks in without hesitation and waves goodbye to me as he enters his classroom, then when he leaves the school he blows kisses to the staff as if he were a celebrity. My only complaint is that they don't offer the parents massages prior to child pick up ;) Management please find a way to make this happen.

After moving here a couple of years ago the new adventure to find a new school started. I stopped by after being disappointed from the other nearby schools. With the exception of your child building their immune system again I truly enjoy the atmosphere and teachers. My daughter loves her teachers and new school. They have a lot of hands on and diverse culture traditions they learn. The negative review I have is there's no good communication or documentation when your child has an accident or fall or the teacher ratio to students. The other schools always sent documentation so unless your child can communicate well you're on your own.

A terrible experience for parent and child. This school violates at its core the basic principles of Montessori which focus on respecting a child's developmental stages. I was continually reminded that at 5 my child should be able to do things he was not doing, rather than respecting where he was and providing a nurturing environment for him to improve and learn new skills, all the while noting typical toddler behavior such as laughing for no reason as strange and undesirable. I would not recommend this school to those wishing to raise independent, self-reliant children.
