It was possible to give them no star. Book a vehicle and at the time of pickup, it was not available. Needed to upgrade and pay extra because had no time to search with other venders. Also vehicle was not clean either. Enterprise is also near my home, will go to them next time.

Terrible customer service. I was sent here to get a rental when dealership had to keep my vehicle overnight. Closed at 5:30p. Oil light comes on at 6p. Can’t contact them to see if I need to get oil changed or not and I work at 7a the following morning downtown and they don’t open til 8a. I went ahead and got oil changed. Refuse to reimburse me because of their lack of resetting the oil life on the vehicle. Called them in the morning to express my frustration. They insisted they would call me back later in the day. To let me know about the reimbursement. Never did I had to call them before they closed to get the information I needed.

I love this HERTZ location. Char'Donae and staff always treat me with respect and make sure that I have everything I need. They provide professional and personable service and make me feel welcome. They are always appreciative of the business. I travel a lot for business and wish every HERTZ mirrored this one.

Unfortunately I was in need of a rental while my Expedition was being repaired after being hit from behind. Trying to find a rental during the holidays can be a nightmare, at least of comparable size. Well, I booked at this Hertz and initially the young lady (who was friendly and professional) helped get me into a Nissan Kicks. But once she knew what I was driving, she did all she could and was able to get us into a Durango. She really made my day with her help with getting us a bigger vehicle. I would definitely rent here in my leisure as well. Great service and workers who are attentive to details. Give them a try if you are ever in need of a rental!

When I walked into Hertz on Wednesday, December 20th, and spoke to Darren about renting a vehicle for Saturday, the 23rd-Wednesday, the 27th. He was very nice and professional as I held my 10.5 lb service dog in my arms. A far cry from Char'Donae ("like the wine"), who immediately chose violence when I walked in to pick up my rental that Saturday morning. Again, I walked in holding my 10.5 lb service dog, who was in his harness, plainly labeled Service Dog, and underneath his harness he was wearing a shirt and overalls (to keep any possible shedding to himself). As soon as I walked up to the counter, she said, "I need you to keep the dog over there, I'm highly allergic." There is a pretty large (long and wide) reception desk between us and it wasn't like I was going to ask her to hold him... I just responded by saying he is a service dog, to which she says, "I don't care, I can see the hair on him." To which I responded, "that's why I put clothes on him, to respect people's allergies." She then tells me "no pets are allowed in our vehicles." To which I had to again tell her he is a service dog. She proceeds to want to go back and forth with me and I told her it is against the law to discriminate and I pulled out his service animalI credentials, hoping she would drop it and just give me my vehicle so I could be on my way. No, she continues to try to make herself heard. I told her that her manager, Darren saw him when I walked in and made the reservation. She quipped back with, "he's not the manager, I am. He's a manager in training." I then asked, "can we please finish this without the exchange?" Then she practically whispered to me that I needed to sign something on the electronic pad. I asked her to repeat it and she did so again quietly. Then she tells me "he'll bring the car around front" and then disappears in the back. A guy gets out of a VW SUV, walks in, speaks to me and then reads my shirt out loud ("JESUS, the way, the truth, and the life") and says, "alright nah, I know that's right!" I said something like yeah, I'm trying to spread the love of Christ but your manager won't let me be great! Then he disappears to the back. I stood there not knowing what to do, so I walked to the back, not knowing if customers were allowed back there or not. When I walked to the back, Char'Donae had her back turned to me and she and the gentleman who drove the SUV to the front of the store were vacuuming another vehicle. I could read the guy's lips telling her that I was coming, which let me know she was talking about me and the incident that had just transpired. She never turned around to address me, nor did she turn the vacuum off. So I asked the gentleman if the car that he drove around front was for me and he said I guess, I was just told to bring it around front. I checked the driver's side door, it was locked and no one had given me a key. So I said to him, I don't have a key and the door is locked. He came in from out back vacuuming, apologized and said, "I was only told to bring the car up front." To which I told him, "if your manager didn't have an attitude problem maybe you would have known what to do and I could have been gone."As a woman of color, myself included, Char'Donae's discriminatory response/behavior toward me was both alarming and unwarranted especially because of the amount of discrimination women of color receive just by merely existing. I walked in the establishment in a great mood after having a good chat with my Uber driver on the way there, and very excited about going to spend Christmas with my 1 year old grandson, son, and daughter-in-law, but was met with a nasty attitude! To add insult to injury, I had to buy 2 cables from Verizon Wireless to charge my phones because the cigarette charger didn't work in the vehicle. 10/10 don't recommend. Will not use this location ever again.

Let me be clear, this 5-star review is NOT for Hertz as a corporation. I will personally never rent from Hertz again as I have never rented a car that was in such poor condition (and at my age, I've rented a car or two). My five stars here is ONLY for Darren, one of the managers at the spring cypress location, because he made all the wrongs turn out right. I think he was actually mortified at the condition of my rental. The key battery was low, the wipers hadn't been changed in goddess knows how long which I got to experience in a lovely rain (so not stressful at all), all seats were torn (the tear in the back was at least 5" long), the drivers side floor carpet had a huge hole from wear and tear, I had to kick the plastic part back into place on the left foot door jamb, and I'm pretty sure the radio was possessed.

Worst rental car experience in my life.I was on location for an hour and half, just to be told no vehicle is available.I was told to cancel my reservation and rebook online.Unhelpful and unaccommodating

Avoid the Hertz locations which are not at an airport. Had 10:00 pickup reservation, no cars. After almost two hour wait they show up with a huge SUV which was not a problem except we were driving to Dallas and visiting friends along the way...poor fuel economy. Also told them I would take the no fill fuel option so long as the tank was full when we start...it was not but they charged me anyway, made sure it was on fumes when we returned. I was just being lazy and I forgot fuel in TX was only $3 per gallon...my bad. So 2 hour wait to pickup the car, not full tank, car dirty and to add insult to injury...had issues connecting CarPlay. Plus an added benefit the display was so dark you couldn't read it. Last two rentals from hertz were terrible. Will continue to work with them but only at airports.

This location is so unorganized and apparently seen to be low in staff. I made reservation for a vehicle and I assume upon arrival that it will be ready. But apparently that doesn't mean anything with hertz. The vehicle wasn't ready and then the communication wasn't clear with the deposit and all above. So I had to go home and come back and when I arrived they gave the vehicle that they had for me away to another customer. So once i got a vehicle finally, the car seem to not be clean.So we traveled out of state in this vehicle and then had to air tires and also after that the brakes was grinding. How in the world you will give me a vehicle with brakes grinding so that tells me they don't inspect their vehicles before a customer drives it off. We immediately called and went to a hertz out of state and they took care of us with no problems. When we drove back to our destination I still had to wait to return vehicle. I assume I will get compensated for what we went through with the vehicle they previous gave us which was crazy for it to be a 2023 suv having brakes issues. So warning if you deal with hertz at this location please make sure they fully inspect it before you drive it off.

Do no recommend! They never answer their phone so good luck trying to get a hold of them. They say that they pre-inspect the vehicles yet the vehicle I was given was not washed and had sidewall damage on one of the tires, yet Char'Donae insisted that it was safe to drive on, also because I had roadside assistance! I do not trust the staff at this location. Rude and imcompetent!

If I could give negative stars, I would! I have never dealt with such awful customer service from a rental company. I tried to give hertz a try and never again, I’ll stick with Enterprise who knows how to treat their customers with service animals with respect.

8/8/23I called around noon to rent car and I was told by a young man to call back around 4:30 to see what car was available. So I said okay. At 4:30 I called and talked to a young lady and she told me to give a minute and she’ll check. I waited 15 minutes on the phone and she never answered. I tried calling before 5:30 and no one answered the phone.Hopefully the manager does something to improve this place. Sorry business.
