I’m giving two stars only because of my first two visits, which were great experiences. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing, and I won’t be returning. I requested simple French braids for my child, something I’ve paid less than $20 for on previous visits. However, this time, they wanted to charge me $65, calling it a "style." After some back-and-forth, they lowered the price to $45 but kept pointing to their price board, which is already quite limited. Of course, French braids weren’t even listed there. I suggested they maintain consistency in their pricing—charging $20 for braids that take 20 minutes seems reasonable, especially since I’ve paid less before and even left a good tip. It’s a shame they lost us as customers due to this inconsistency.

This is for my little sister. She wanted a haircut and some bangs, but a lot of hair salons always mess up my little sisters hair. We came to this place and they were super kind and funny! My sister got a haircut and some bangs and it didn't even take long either! Her haircut and bangs came out soooo well!! The workers over there had such great customer service and they were super kind! Thank you guys so much <3

So easy to book online. Mary at the Barker-Cypress location (by Berry Center) is wonderful -- listens to what I want, takes her time to get it right, and always gives me a great haircut.

Not recommended at all,
I went there for a simple haircut last week, there was a black lady, she did not even ask how I want it to be cut, I tried to explain she did not even pay attention and did whatever she wanted and did opposite of what I told her. She destroyed my hair.
This has happened twice(both time with different black ladies), never going back to this location.

Do not go to this location!!!My story of a simple Buzz cut.The black lady who cut my hair is located at the first chair to the right when you get in the salon. I wish I can post a picture regarding the outcome of the haircut. The lady is obviously was in hurry to cut my hair, probably it took her less than 5mins to cut my hair and cost me total of $29 including my $10 tip. I gave the tip without me knowing she did a very sloppy job. When I got home looking at the mirror there was still very obvious hair on my sideburns and I end up using my own shaver to even up my sideburns. She didn't blow dry my hair so I came home with lots of hair in forehead and face. I will never ever go back to this place..

Although our stylist made it very clear that she would have much rather had eaten glass than cut my screaming toddlers hair, I appreciated her sticking through it and not turning us away. The mop top is gone and looks pretty darn ok given the circumstances. Lol

The lady who cut my hair was awesome! She walked me through exactly how to maintain my haircut so it would grow properly and fixed a bad haircut from a few months ago.
