We recently relocated from out of state and were advised to visit this veterinary clinic for our dogs. Overall, our experience at the animal hospital was positive, but the payment process lacked transparency. I was taken aback when our bill totaled $960 for their annual visit, with $460 spent on a single vaccine for both dogs. Had we known the vaccine would be so costly, we would have considered alternative options for protecting our dogs from heartworm disease. The front desk staff was apologetic, but I believe that clearer pricing for vaccinations would greatly improve the experience in the future.

$230 for diagnosis of a lump on my cat. They tell me the lump has “abnormal cells”. They press me HARD to do surgery for another $1,600. After further research, “abnormal cells” can mean BOTH benign and cancerous. They failed to mention the benign part while pressuring me to spend $1,600 for surgery.
I do not trust this vet. They lied from the start and happily grabbed my money. You people are disgusting for withholding medical facts.
Seems most of their 1-star reviews involve cats, meanwhile almost none of their 5-star reviews involve cats beyond just grooming… If it involves cats, they just want your money, they don’t actually care about your cats’ health. These are dog people, find another vet if you have cats.

I need my aggressive cat groomed with sedation. No one answers the phone and it goes straight to voicemail. When the answering service picked up the person who took the message asked for my first and last name and she never delivered my message. Or if she did no one called me
Back. Several hours later a receptionist called and left a msg on my voicemail saying they had to search for my phone number in the system. What’s the point of having a live answering service who doesn’t deliver the messages? It’s poor service and frustrating experience.

Dr. Harris and her team are incredible. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care for her patients' well-being are evident in everything she does. The entire staff and vet techs are equally wonderful—some of the kindest people I've ever met. Thanks to their exceptional care, my cat, Tasha, is still with us, enjoying a happy and comfortable life. I couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication and support.

Impossible to get ahold of them. Whenever I call it goes to voicemail. That’s one issue
The second one is me trying to get my deposit back since none of my cats made it to the appointment. Our appointment was cancelled the day before, then somehow in their system it’s indicated as “no show”. Called multiple times to get my money back and no one seems to communicate there or know anything that’s happening. Called 5 times this morning, again, no one picks up or calls back.

Came here with an emergency rescue kitten situation. From the front desk lady to Jennifer and Dr. Hicks, everyone was very honest and up front about pricing and options, they knew since I pick up any abandoned animal I find I just don't have funds to treat everything so they were clear on different options, allowed me to consider and choose and made no judgements about my choices.
I've been to many vets in the past that when you ask the Dr. how much something is, they respond with "I don't know pricing, I'm the doctor"... which when you call and ask the front desk they say the Dr sets the prices and they don't know either.
Fairfield animal hospital wasn't like that. They told me prices over the phone as well of giving me a list of options with prices listed next to them during the exam so I could decide before moving forward with treatment. I really appreciate this because I've been in situations where I'm being told the animal needs certain things but given no price and by time I make it to check out, I'm carry an animal that still may pass away but now I have to tell my husband I just drained our account. In a perfect world I could save all the animals but at least the ones that are too bad off, they are not spending their last moments on the side of the road (I'm sure you're wondering, in this instance, the kitten got better!)

Wonderful first experience! Friendly friendly FRIENDLY staff! Clean place, very organized and I loved how they loved my dog. Most vets just come in and say very little and leave , they come in give pets, explain everything, even breakdown costs for you on everything. My dog loved this lady so much he just wanted to keep going in the back with her. It was so cute! Definitely go here you won’t regret it.

Large well maintained facility. It is huge, modern, and welcoming. They handle regular visits for dogs and cats, as well as emergencies. They board pets too.

Love this place. It’s always clean and I get in and out within an hour. I’m glad we moved our two dogs to this location.
