We recently visited Discount Tire in Cypress, Texas, and while the tire changing service was efficient, there were a couple of missed opportunities.
Here’s my honest review:
? Pros:
Quick tire replacement for my damaged front right tire.
Friendly staff and good customer service.
? Cons:
Air Pressure Oversight:
Unfortunately, they didn’t fill air in all three remaining tires. It’s essential for safety and tire longevity.
Missed Wheel Alignment and Rotation:
I wish they had performed wheel alignment and tire rotation during the service. These are crucial maintenance steps.
Overall, Discount Tire is a reliable choice, but I recommend they pay attention to these details. If they address these issues, it would be an even better experience for customers.

Is ok service is not very fast. There was nobody by the front desk when I went there. Tires are NOT cheap.

Love Discount tire!!! Had a low tire pressure indicator and brought car to Barker Cypress location, had a screw in back tire, was great to have Nolan’s help again!, was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes

One of the best Discount Tires I've dealt with. I had an appointment at 8:30 and I had already paid for the tires online. The tech met me at my truck as I drove up, checked my tires to confirm they actually needed to be replaced, and had me out the door in about 30 minutes. Well-run shop. I'm happy.

My mustang had 1 flat to the front driver side. Come in and all sudden I need all four tires. I say okay. But then they don’t even have them and have to order. I leave it in the morning and all day I wait and come to check and it’s been sitting there all day and they didn’t even order anything. They are USELESS It’s changing tires not that hard. I didn’t ask for some special. If you have any sort of car that’s not “regular traffic tires” don’t RECOMMEND.

Tire rotation takes an hour with appointment, they pulled the car in after 50 min and the job took only 10 min, why you make appointments then!

Normally, my experiences at Discount Tire are ok. However, today's experience was far from satisfactory. I brought my car in to have two tires checked out. While waiting, I almost witnessed their technicians almost hit another coworker in addition to coming extremely close to other vehicles. In reference to my personal vehicle, they parked it outside of the port ( my car was the ot car outside the port), where it was almost struck by a truck, all with only two tires on my car. (Pictures attached) They also threw the contents of my glove compartment in the front seat and left it. When I asked about it, I was told by a so-called manager, "I set it there. I didn't throw it." I am highly disappointed in this location. I will not be returning to this particular location, and I hope the company does not support this type of service as a whole.

FYI if they can't reset your tpms properly (I went 4 times and they couldn't, even though they kept telling me it would reset and be fine) you can buy the tool on amazon for $8 and it worked perfectly first try. Everything else was fine, they repaired my tire and it's holding air.

Best Discount Tire location around. We have used them for 4 of our vehicles and they always take care of us. Once, we bought tires online, but they ended up not having 4, so they upgraded us at no charge. Always friendly and helpful.

I have worked with discount tire since 1979! Today, after all those years, I am once again reminded why. It is pouring and I had a 10:00 am appointment. The manager called and asked if I was the one sitting in the parking lot. He checked
Me in over the phone and called when a bay opened so I didn't have to run through the deluge of rain! Well done guys!
