Worst experience I have ever had at a Christian Brothers. Took my truck in for check engine light, they wanted $3800 to fix. Then said I could probably get by with only replacing the absolute necessary parts and could have the parts in a day and job done within same day or next, for $1700. I found out that the same work was done by another Christian Brothers 27 miles away about 2 years ago. So the parts and labor was under warranty. This shop gave me a hard time about covering the warranty work for 2 days, and then said they would get to it in a week. An uncountable number of phone calls later and 3 weeks have passed I finally got my truck. I had to pay for one OEM part at $628, because they said the after market parts they kept getting were bad. Note they did put 2 after market parts on the truck one being the same part as the OEM they charged me for. After waiting for the repairs for 3 WEEKS, I picked up the truck and they said the battery was dead and they could not jump it. They had to charge their battery pack to full charge. They told me to go straight home and not stop anywhere because the battery was completely dead and would probably not start. The battery is 3 months old, I drove to AutoZone they tested it and it was at 90%. I feel like nothing this particular Christian Brothers told me was true and I probably got ripped off. I have used Christian Brothers since the 1990's and have never had an experience like this. I hope who ever reads this takes caution before leaving their vehicle at this location. I do not believe this location is 100% honest and upfront. Oh and to top it off there is grease and dirt all over the driver's side door arm rest. UPDATE ... less than 15 minutes of road time and the Check Engine lights are back on.

Very professional and I felt confident I was not being overly charged. I know I could have found a cheaper place, but their service was worth the peace of mind that it was being done right. Front end suspension and motor mounts plus some other maintenance, about $4,000. I also loved the texts with a link that broke down the repairs needed. They accept CarCare which made payment easier with a deferred interest special. They also have a shuttle for local drop-offs.

Big shout out to the Christian Brothers Automotive in Fairfield! My brakes were grinding and making noise. I called and they told me to bring the car in and they inspected it immediately! They walked me out to the car and showed me that my rotor was almost gone! They fixed my car the same day for a good price. Highly recommend this shop to anyone!

I went in for a state inspection and bumper to bumper check. My vehicle needed a few items taken care of and they charged hundreds less than another automotive place quoted. The service was great!

I had multiple problems with my 'electronics' in my 2020 F250. Jesus helped me from beginning to end and in one day, solved all the issues. I was amazed by how thorough and professional he was. In my view, he went the extra mile to make sure it was fixed.

Do yourself a favor and do not step foot in this place. A bunch of unqualified technicians who know nothing concerning state inspections. My mother who is elderly went in for a state inspection and was failed due to “windshield tint”. my mother has clear windshield chip protection film over her windshield to protect from rock chips/cracks. It’s completely clear. And LEGAL. Christian brothers failed her because of this and stated she will need a medical exemption in order to use this…? This is completely incorrect and it shows how inadequate their training is. Will never use this company again.

All the employees were very professional, polite and respectful.
I felt that I could trust them and my vehicle would be taken care of.
I got pictures and information that explained what was wrong with my vehicle and I felt comfortable to make decisions to get it fix right away or have a few more days to get it done.
I’m glad I gave them a chance
