These people are crooks! Not the workers at this location, but the company. They fined me for a parking violation even though I sent them evidence that the parking was paid for the whole day at the location on the date in question.I will never use budget ever again.

Worst experience ever!!!I made a booking online to pick up a 12 passenger van at this location. I prepaid with a cc I also confirmed and reconfirmed the booking over the phone. I was told a day bef up da not to worry that the van was going to be ready on time. When I arrived I was told there were no cars available! The worst part was the lack of empathy and willingness to help by the person who was behind the counter; Rather than offering an apology he just kept saying that making a reservation online, confirming over the phone and, in person does not guarantee a rental car” ! Unbelievable! I I also had to wait 5 days to get the prepaid credit to my card, money that they charged to my card 2 months prior the pickup date.Due to their mistake I was late to my son’s wedding in Dallas

Car was filthy. Check engine light was on and to top it off they added 100 bucks to the price they quoted the day before! When I asked he said " well prices go up! " Avoid this location like the plague.

Be aware! They scam there customers. Accuse there customers of pets in the car. I didn't have any pets in the car. I have blonde hair, my hair was only hair in the car. They gave me the car dirty, unvacuumed, unwashed. It's all black inside. They just want to charge you $450 to make money and scam you. I returned the vehicle on full gas and they still charges for gas! DON'T RENT FROM HERE.

Absolutely, horrible customer service especially from the manager! Why prepay for a vehicle when they will add charges once you're an hour late! Taking my business back to Enterprise where customer service is what makes a difference!!! Do better!

Be aware of this location!!! I got additional charge of $30.71 on my Credit Card without any massage or invoice after a couple days. At the time of return and inspection at other location in Dallas I asked representetive what is the tottal charge. She made me sure that all is paid and no additional charges will be applied. On my statement I can see that the charge came from Cypress location, when I never returned the vehicle there. I called AMEX and made a dispute. I recommend to keep an eye on your statement and do not allow crooks to rob you.

We were stuck in the traffic due to unpredicted severe weather and were late by 1 hour upon return. But the staff were unable to accept our return without charging for one more extra day.We have been in this kind of situation once im past with another car rental company and they happily agreed to let go severe late penalties.

I rented a vehicle twice in two weeks. They did not clean the car before giving me the keys.Week 1: I prepaid for a full size car and the ride agent tired to give me a small vehicle. Then the lady behind me says she was returning a Camry and I said that’s what size vehicle. The rude agent goes out to the car then returns and hands me the keys. I said are you going to clean the car? He walks back out to the car with a spray bottle and comes back in within 2 minutes and hands me the keys. I go to the car which had a few dents on it so I go back in to show the agent and he snatches the detail sheet and draws a line in the sections I mentioned. Then says to take a picture of any other damages as scratches doesn’t matter.Week 2: rented another full size vehicle. They didn’t have any vehicles so he assigns me to a SUV. I look at the vehicle and say is this good on gas as I need it for road trip. He says use cruise control. I get in the vehicle and head home I wanted to return the vehicle because I thought the vehicle burned a lot of gas as the agent said it was full. Since I was unfamiliar I thought it was full at the time, however, when I went to the gas station later that day, as I didn’t drive the vehicle except from Budget to home 6 miles, comes to find out the tank was not full as the tank indicator says 440 miles to E. When I picked up the vehicle it was only on 380. I also noticed it was a ton of dog hair in the back of the SUV. So again the car wasn’t cleaned. When I returned the vehicle back with 383 miles to tank noted the agent said the vehicle was not full and I needed to fill it up or else I would be charged. I explained to him it was on the same level it was on when I picked the vehicle up.I knew the rep drove the car prior to me picking the vehicle up because he left wallet in the vehicle which I brought back to him.For him to con me out of additional gas he used is unfair. It wasn’t about the money it’s about the principle.I am honest you should be honest.

Car was disgustingly dirty when I picked up. The guy working was incredibly rude when I dropped it off. Absolutely no customer service skills. Definitely will not be back.

If you have a 580 or lower credit score and you don’t have a credit card with a spending limit higher then $200 you cant rent a car here. Other than that a typical car rental situation.

Renter be ware... The Cypress, Texas Avis location is scamming their customers. Be sure to take a photo of your gas tank. They will fill the gas tank up just enough to make it look like it is full and they mark on their paper work it is full, but really it is not. Then if you fill it back up to a little bit above how you received they will charge you for not filling it to the top, even though they lied about the tank being full and they do not tell you they are charging you for it. I happened to catch it because I checked the receipt they sent me via email, but the coward at the actual store printed out the receipt that had the original price they were to charge without the gas charge being included. Then they do not do proper oil changes, so you have to fill your own windshield wiper fluid, of course they don't refund you for that, even though fluid levels are their responsibility, you have to hope and pray that the engine doesnt explode while you are on your trip because they failed to do an oil change. They do not preform updates to their technology systems, or clean the vehicles, they do a half ass job of vacuuming it, but they do not clean any other nastiness from the prior renter. Please save yourself a headache and go to a different location or to Enterprise.
