In the past, I’ve rented vehicles from various locations, but this recent experience stands out as the best I’ve ever had. Booking my rental online the same day was seamless, and upon arrival, Devon provided exceptional and courteous service throughout the entire process. Alongside his coworker, he prioritized my needs, ensuring complete satisfaction with the vehicle I was provided. I certainly plan to return to this location for future business.

Make sure you take pictures and have someone sign the discrepancies before you leave when you arriving to this location if its y o ur drop off. they are quick to charge you a previous renter their fees I feel its a scam they problably pocket those fees themselves. For ex: Even take pics of your fuel guage as well.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!MY mother rented a car for the weekend while her car was in the shop and when she tried to return it today, the Avis Employee named AYOR stated that he will be charging her a $450 cleaning fee for smoking in the vehicle. He accused my mom of smoking when she does not smoke at all!!! He wouldn’t listen to my mother or sister explaining how the car already smelled like that from DAY 1! But he still went ahead and charged my mom for smoking.Ayor even suggested for my mom to rent the car again for another day so she can clean the car. Why would my mom need to do that for? He also went into the vehicle with a spray can. Not sure why, and what that was for! But highly suspicious!When we asked for the manager, Ayor said that he didn’t know where his manager was, then later said he didn’t have any way of contacting his manager, then later changed his story AGAIN and said his manager is at church (in the middle of a Tuesday, mind you) then was on the phone with his manager later and still wouldn’t give us any phone or email contact to speak with a manager/general manager or corporate. Why does this liar keep changing his story?This place has BAD customer service. Take your money and go elsewhere because this place likes to scam senior citizens for their money and accuse them of doing something they didn’t do!If you walk in the store and see AYOR as your customer service rep, RUN!!!You’re better off canceling your reservation and go to Enterprise! He will scam you!

No happy with additional mileage charges and it was not explained. Corporate accounts are has unlimited mileage. When I spoke to the representative, no one was willing to assist with my concerns. I am still waiting to hear back from Avis Corporate office

getting weird phone calls from there number after hrs. I suspect someone is spoofing there number for spam calls. Unless they have a reason to try to call someone that never used them and is many miles away after hrs lol. 4 stars bc probably not there fault but some voip or vps services idk???

I don't recommend going to Avis on Barker Cypress Mr.Mike the manager is very rude and my credit card was stolen from a customer and he didn't have any remarks also the cars are very raggedy

Rented a Toyota Rav4 for a week from the office in Cypress TX the staff were friendly and helpful the car was fine apart from the puncture we got a few hours after collection (not their fault)The price was about the going rate we suffered because of the exchange rate.On returning the car the guys in the office were friendly and pleasant

I am never going to this establishment ever again. These are the rudest, most unfriendly people ever. Not willing to work on issues with a customer and just throwing you out at their first chance telling you to just call 1-800. I would not rent a bicycle from these people.

I rented a vehicle to drive 3 hours to see my daughter give birth to her first baby. I realized that my air conditioner was not working. So I had to drive from the rental company all the way to San Antonio without my air conditioner working properly. I was planning to take my daughter and the new baby home the following day. I contacted the Cypress, Texas rental location where I picked up the vehicle. I spoke to Devon who informed me to contact Roadside Service. I contacted them and they informed me that I had to find a location to trade in for another vehicle. At this point, I was frustrated because this was my gas that I had to waste trying to find a location. When I arrived, the rental company located inside the Walmart had no cars available and informed me to travel another 20 miles to the airport for a vehicle. However, about 10 minutes later, someone returned a vehicle a day earlier and the manager provided me with a trade in for a new vehicle. I arrived back to Cypress safely in the new rental. However, no one has been wiling to accommodate "my time loss" or stress in dealing with this issue and worrying about getting to the hospital to see my daughter give birth. I feel that someone should have been authentic enough to provide me with some type of accommodation, discount, extra day, or something. But I will say thank you to the Walmart staff location on Leon Street ( I can't remember the exact address). I sat there in tears because of frustration. But they were nice enough to assist me by providing me with a vehicle that just arrived literally seconds later. However, I feel that Avis should have been more accommodating to me as a customer instead of everyone I talked to made excuses. The Cypress location told me when I rent another vehicle, "I will take care of you." That is not good enough. I live in Cypress and don't have a need for another vehicle. But assisting me now in the time of need would have been more sufficient.

When I rented the Chrysler Pacifica in Houston, there was damage noted on the card, plus a few spots not noted. I was instructed by the man at the counter to "take pictures if anything else worries you." Given that they were not big damage, such as a small dent and some scratches on the bumper, I didn't think that was necessary. Additionally, they never walked me around the car to look at things like pretty much ALL car rental companies do. So there was no accountability there whatsoever. We didn't damage the car in any way, yet Avis is trying to tell us that we managed to damage it in less than 20 hours. All we did was load up our luggage to go to the airport from our home. The damages they are referring to are very clearly old, including the peeled up carpet portion in the trunk area. I also was barely able to use the Stow & Go seating as it was very clearly already worn quite a bit and wouldn't latch down. I'm furious this Avis location would attempt to say any damage at all is my fault, and definitely will not be renting through them in the future. I'll go back to Enterprise where they actually take accountability for their vehicles.
