I normally overlook bad customer service because everybody has a bad day once in a while. Today, I cannot. I am quite sorry to have to write a negative review, but as a business owner myself, I know that the franchise owner needs to know about this immediately.
I came into the store and found two employees behind the counter. Dustin, was helping another customer look up a part on the pc. He looked like he had been working hard outside a lot. The other employee, Peter, looked like he had just started, and he was available. I asked him to check my battery. He didn't decline my request, but he told me Dustin would help me in a minute. Dustin finished with his customer quickly and although he was already looking pretty worn, he had a great attitude and accompanied me to my vehicle. It was a bad battery.
It was under warranty so we returned to the store and processed the replacement. Dustin and I then went outside and he started swapping out the new battery. I returned and waited in the store. I was looking at my phone and after a few minutes Peter unexpectedly calls out from behind the counter and asks me Do you have my guy replacing your battery", to which I respond, yes. He then gruffly asks if I know how to do it... "yes, of course", is my answer. He then gets an attitude (actually, I think he probably already had it when I came in) and wants to know why I'm not doing it myself. I managed to restrain myself from pointing to the HUGE SIGNS on the wall over the batteries and on the shop windows that say, "Free Installation". I simply said that I buy at AutoZone because the installation is included. He then insulted me saying, "you should be ashamed of yourself. You're a grown man!" It may or may not come across in the writing, but all of this was spoken to me with a very unpleasant tone. That exchange was unprovoked and absolutely inexcusable. How he could treat me so rudely? I suppose it was because another customer had come in and he wished to have his employee available so that he didn't have to wait on him himself.
Dustin was awesome. I wish I could give him his own 5-star review. It was clear to me that Peter was having Dustin do all the work outside, and probably as much of the inside work as possible. Such a contrast: one employee working HARD, the other hardly working!

Some dork who takes his job too seriously wouldn't let me return a tool I just bought the exact same day, because I used it once. What an absolute joke. The worker was a younger guy with curly hair and light skin. PLEASE FIRE HIM!!

my husband and i was here last night and their service wasn’t too bad so we complimented them. well, next thing I know I look at my bank Chase bank account and see that there was an unauthorized transaction for $97.41 along with other small less than $5 unauthorized transactions from the same AutoZone as well the only transaction we approved and made was a $13.51 they are stealing your credit card information and they will steal your money there and it’s not just $5 or $10. They stole $100 and more from me and I called them to talk to them about it. They Were very rude and did not want to help just hung up on me.the worker who took care of our bill yesterday was dustin. but wasn’t the one that was on the phone when i called it was another person

I am giving 2 thumbs up to Fil. He was instrumental and solely responsible for my Dodge Journey Limited getting repaired properly. Every time I came into the store with a different mechanical concern, Fil reassured me that the problems are fixable. He gave me his professional advice on the repairs that should have been done by the previous mechanic. He told me what information I should relay to the dealership to get my Dodge Journey fixed properly. When I went into the dealership and explained the problem to them they had agreed to fix a major repair, taking on the responsibility for parts and labor. I only had to pay a very small amount, which I was able to afford. Fil truly went above and beyond the call of duty. I am now driving my car and it purrs like a kitten. Fil, thank you for your outstanding customer service. Your professionalism, thoughtfulness, compassion and kindness is greatly appreciated. There are no words to truly express my gratitude for you going the extra mile. Please keep up the great work, your knowledge is definitely needed. With Warmest Regards, Ms. Johnson.

I dont usually write any reviews but I came in here today with my dad and got discriminated by Peter C. He started being extremely passive aggressive and practically screaming at us after he heard us speak Spanish. Cant say I’m surprised that I see other reviews from other people being discriminated in this location. What a shame to have someone so ignorant working here, it’s 2024!

Satisfaction guaranteed! Everyone at this location makes you feel like family, especially Byron and Peter!! My check engine light was on and while I was panicking they were calm, collected, and ready to fix the problem. Love this location!
