My wife, son and I went into family dollar in Cushing Texas during a bad storm on 4-22-20. We live in a trailer & we were under a tornado watch. We went there because it’s a sturdy building and we wanted to be safe. We were just browsing around the store & I needed to use the restroom. I went to the back where the restrooms are located, but they were both locked. I walked up to the front of the store to request the key (which I have done many times at this location and they have always obliged me.) I was informed that the public restrooms were stopped up and they only have employee restrooms. I said well then I need the key to the employee restroom. Again I was denied. So I walked the back to find the employee restrooms (which were nonexistent.) I raised my voice and they threatened to throw me out and to call the police. The manager was the phone with the police when we left. We usually shop there for a few items when we don’t want to go into Nacogdoches. I won’t spend another dollar in this store ever again.

I come all away from Nacogdcohes to shop here. It is clean and well organized. I looked for the corporate number to talked to them instaed but couldnt find it. I love the store. It was a mess at first but it has gotten better. I told my husband I would waste gas for this place. Those two new faces they have in there have been working there behinds off. And drekia (i think thats what her name badge says) is so friendly. She moves fast, but she be hard at work. Everytime I go in there she is willing to stop what she is doing to help the customers even if you say that's okay ill try and find it. I walked in there one day and the boxes was nearly higher than the roller it was on. I had been in there for awhile and before I left I went back to the food side for my husbands twinkies and the roller thing was almost cleared, it was like a two rows atleast left. She is to qualified for this job. She is FAST. There's another one that says she just came from Rusk and she is the head boss she is super sweet. She has cleared those walk ways up. Go on down to Cushing Texas you want forget it. Great shopping place and great restaurants.
