“My very first visit was late night, had my daughter with me, gas tank was on e and I was stressing already. The attende was outside on her smoke break and seemed very annoyed that I chose their gas station at that time. She walked in in front of us, mumbling about her break, then when she was behind the register she looked me in my face and began to complain about that being her fist cigarette after just getting there and doing all the paper work etc.... I smiled and said I was sorry but we came from out of town and stopped at the first station available due to our tank being on e. I was highly upset at this time because why is she scolding me for giving her store a sale? I apologized again while she huffed and puffed and slowly gave me my change. I didn't plan on visiting the store again but my husband being the patient and more forgiving one went one day after this incident and the employees were great. Since then I have visited the store numerous times and it's always clean, employees great, and wide variety of things.”
“They have a great friendly staff always greats you with a welcoming smile. The store is always clean you can order something to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner the have a clean dinning area as well. If your in a rush and want to get in and out they have a lot of fuel pumps so you won’t have to wait forever to get fuel and the Texan has a fueling area for y’all truck drivers needing to get some fuel and a hot meal while on the road not to mention they have free air with the cleanest fuel that you are able to purchase why would anyone go anywhere else I would much rather choose the THE TEXAN above any other store.”

“I stopped in for a snack and a beverage on Thanksgiving and was joyfully greeted by Lynette and Rachel! Wow! These ladies were smiling and genuinely happy to be working today. I am so thankful for people who work on holidays and then to be welcomed and blessed... wow! The Texan will be a regular stop for me on my way to Houston from now on! Thank you!”
“They are a small and friendly store that has been here in the community for many years they have friendly employees who are always welcoming they have clean restrooms and a large parking lot they also have a tire shop nextdoor if you have any tire repairs they have been a locally owned business serving the coumminty for many years.”

“I will only go in there when kery or the tall guy is there. It seems to be that's the only time it's clean. The last couple of times I been in there when it was different people working they would clean the bathroom with way to much bleach and the second you sit on the toilet you would start itching... So I learned my lesson not use it. One lady that might be in her late 40's early 50's that looks like she is about to have a baby and Pam are rude....”

“We use diesel in our pick up. It was nice to have a few islands to choose from. Prices at the Cuero HEB were slightly lower than other stations in the area. I'll get my fuel there every time. Easy to do that then fill my water at the store and have my groceries brought out to me. Very convenient.”
