Awesome shop! Father & son business, they really know what they’re doing. Went there for an oil change and an alignment on the way from LA to Houston during the pandemic. Super nice staff and fair prices. You want it done right? Go there!

The alternator failed on my vehicle on our road trip to visit family. We got stranded about 15 miles outside of Cuero. They owner of the shop recommended a tow service. They were able to diagnose and repair our vehicle the same day. We were back on the road a few hours later. Everyone at the shop was very kind. They had an air conditioned waiting area. We had our dog with us and they were ok with her being in there with us. They are a busy shop and seemed to have a lot of repeat customers. Thank you so much we really appreciate your help.

Good work on a work vehicle fixed brakes, rotor and other problems with the vehicle still have to return to get back brakes and other problems fixed. But very satisfied with the work. Plus they have peacocks roaming around which was nice to see

Jimmy is the nicest man! We were on our way down to the coast for thanksgiving and our truck started acting funky after we changed the oil in the morning. Their shop closed in 20 minutes but he still helped us out. It ended up being an easy fix but he could have easily turned us away and he didn’t. Jimmy deserves a raise and a fishing trip!!

Although the quality of repairs is ok, the repairs do not get done in a timely fashion. In addition, this shop imho seriously price gouged me over and above RETAIL pricing, not just the discounted commercial pricing they pay.In addition, verbal quote did not match final invoice. And no notification received of price increase. And just FYI, only in this town 4 weeks, didn't know anyone. After asking around, my opinion has been confirmed by others who live here. And I shared with O'Reilly's to suggest they don't refer to CA. I gave them verification of same.

There was not good perfect fix motor was appear again problem two time fixed. I am not happy.

My daughter was enroute to the coast and heard a scrapping sound underneath her car. Pulled into Cuero Automotive. They put it on the lift and found the plastic undercover sheet had come loose on the front and was dragging. Popped a few screws in it all fixed. Didn't charge her!!!

We have used Cuero Automotive Repair for about 5 years. We love this place. HONEST, RELIABLE, FAIR and FRIENDLY. Had auto issues from oil changes to timing belt replacement. I can not say enough good things about this place. Had an issue that a gasket had a manufactures defect and failed and left my wife stranded 30 miles from home. This part failure was part of a repair they performed. We told them where the car was and that the keys were under the seat. They towed the vehicle back to Cuero, made the repair within 24 hours and did not charge us a cent. Mr. Jim (head wrench turner and owner) and Mr. Jay (son of Jim and manager) are wonderful people to deal with. They have worked with us for several time sensitive issues.

Wow! People working here seriously have restored our faith in humanity! We were on a roadtrip and had a car issue. I'm so thankful they were the closest mechanic to us! They got us in quickly and back on the road within minutes! Thank you!!!!

Got oil change done. Very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. They seem very busy and were able to squeeze me in as walk in. They even have products from BG! I had been trying to get their oil for years. They're also looking to hire technicians.
