Booked a camping spot 3 weeks in advance for our ground tent. Finally, there was an alligator just 50 feet from us hissing in the middle of the lake. Really disappointed cause I asked before if there are any nearby gators where I would like to camp. They even did not referred me to the sites for ground tents.Until today I got no refund. We were sleeping in the Hostel on the other site this night.

We really enjoyed this RV park. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. Great relaxing place! The spots have a picnic table and there was plenty of shade at the site. Beach is close by and we rate the overall stay a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!

Site nice. Near road but off season so not too bad road noise. Staff friendly. Down side was bathrooms. Not clean and looked very worn out. Hard to regulate hit water.

Highly recommend. After trying a coupleOf other parks on the island with not great results, we found these good folks and won’t stay anywhere else. We also use to store our trailer.Very quiet. Just good folks to deal with.

We stayed here overnight last week & it was very nice & when we arrived we ended up having a spot rite next to other people who also had a dog but our dog would not stop barking at the neighbors dog so i called & left a voicemail & i recieved a call back pretty quick & the owner offered to move us to another spot and was soooo nice about it. Our grandkids like watching the gators in the big pond & we showered there & left the next day. It was sooo peaceful & relaxing. The RV park has a nice lake but nothing to do. There is no pool or hot tub. The walk to the beach involves crossing a highway. We were happy with our service and spot but we won’t stay here again.

We've been here 2 months and starting our third and final month this trip to Crystal Beach. If you NEED a swimming pool, I'd suggest elsewhere. But if you're looking for a FHU that includes electricity with good space between rigs, a Laundry, bathhouse and damned fine people running the place, call here. My only advice to the Owner is research fast growing trees good for shade. Two thumbs up from this one-legged wanderer.. and my heart...my wife.

The RV park was very clean and quiet. The hookups were all in very good order. However, some of the spot numberings were hard to see or missing. There is no pool nor any other recreational activities on-site, but there are things to do off-site. I would definitely recommend this site for a good getaway.

We’ve stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. Location is great, staff is friendly and helpful, Wi-Fi was great. No complaints. We will be back soon!

The longer we're here the more I love it. This place is clean and quiet. The staff (owners?) are friendly and more than helpful!The permanent residents have a great layout in the back of the park. They have tent camping spots, a really nice laundry, 2 bath houses, playground for the kids, a pavilion, lake view sites and a great dog park!We're 2-3 blocks off the beach and not too far from groceries, fuel and plenty of food trucks!! This is definitely someplace we're going to come back to again!Nearby activities: There's 2 water slide places. They now have parasailing, great fishing guide, mini golf, golf cart rentals and the ferry to Galveston.

We did not stay here as we were camping shore side. They offered convenient fill and dumping for a reasonable fee. The staff was so friendly and informative. The location was well maintained and has a beautiful pond in the middle of it. Even though we did not utilize their location we will be looking into visiting them in the future. Highly recommend there location even if you are just stopping to fill or dump. ?

Not bad but need to work on getting fire ants under control. Bathrooms need some attention but overall nice place.

This was our first visit to this park but will not be our last. Everything in this place was awesome clean very well maintained. placement of the park is the perfect place to enjoy all bolivar peninsula has to offer, can't say enough about it just a great experience and that's hard to come by now days

We had a pleasant stay at the park here and had a nice lake view and wonderful sunset. Passport America rate was $22.50 with full hook up. Wifi was above average and location was close to te beach. Ray the manager and his assistant Janette were very friendly and great hosts.
