“I had a really good experience at town and county. Our vet gave one of our dogs his yearly shots and he had a allergic reaction and wasn't available to straighten him out.One call to town and country and they said bring him in. As soon as I arrived we went straight to a examination room and within 15 minutes the vet was taking care of him. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of him !!!”

“Today my dog Mia had her yearly exam. I met Dr. Head and her tech Christina for the first time. Dr. Head came into the room and did a thorough check on Mia. She asked me questions and treated Mia as if she was her own dog. Christina was fabulous and welcomed Mia with open arms. She even printed information for me to read more on about Mia’s condition that she has. Overall this was a wonderful experience that I have not had before and highly recommend the both of them. “Dr. Bowe was the surgeon who repaired a broken femur on my then 3yr old dog, while he was in the care of a rescue. I went back to him 8 years later, when his hip was bothering him, and not only he remembered him and had all his records. After X-Rays there wasn’t anything he could do surgery wise, so he gave me recommendations to manage his discomfort plus prescribed some meds. After a few weeks of doing what he said my dog regain use of his hip and has been doing great since.A month agYears eve, my dog had bloody diarrhea and we had to take him to an emergency vet. To my surprise, Dr. Bowe called on the first business day, and left me a message saying he was notified of our ER visit and was calling to check on my dog to see if he was doing better or if he needed something else. I was floored he took the time to call personally.Dr Bowe is a very experienced, kind, caring and professional Vet, and I’m so grateful and lucky to have gone back to his practice. Yes, getting a same day appointment is very unlikely ( same situation with PCP’s for humans!) so for emergencies I take my dog to Urgent Vet in Prosper, and see Dr. Bowe for yearly checks and issues related to his hip or overall wellbeing. That’s the combo that works for us because I know I won’t get his level of care anywhere else, and I trust him wholeheartedly for my dog.”

“Incredibly convenient and professional. A great alternative to going to a vet. They even called us and said to come in whenever since they had multiple cancelations. About 4 people did show up when we arrived, and they were able to see us all despite the fact that the clinic had officially closed for the day. They were amazing in dealing with our less than cooperative dog and were able to get him caught up on everything he needed. They provided us with documentation, a tag, and important information about our visit. Special shout out to Dr. Emily Couvillion and her team! 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!”

“Hey for baby had gotten bitten by a squirrel and I called them at about 5:30 PM and they were happy to see us but being favor to close in 30 minutes and the main vet tech was it and they were honest about recommending to go somewhere else for the time being. “Dr. Lindsay is absolutely fantastic, he is patient, he listens, he cares and loves his job. Ranger has been under his care for 4 years and I would not trust anyone else to care for him. He has educated us on how to care for our dog and has helped us become better pet parents. He sees all the dogs in our family - Luke, Cookie and Jake. The tech team is amazing and caring , Ranger is very anxious and he is not judged rather loved and cared for. The front desk is always welcoming and easy to schedule.It really helps us to see how they treat our pup who is really scared of his own shadow, they make him feel like he belongs and give him lots of love. “After trying to get our dog seen at 2 different ER vets on Sunday without success, we were at Companion Animal Hospital’s doorstep when they opened Monday morning.Dr. Valenciano diagnosed Gracie with pancreatitis. Once we got the meds in her, she was a different dog within a couple of hours. She was eating and drinking and enjoying the sunshine. I know we were a PIA but, we were worried. Thank you Dr. V and Shondra for being patient and kind to all of us. We’re so relieved.”

“I came here when my dog ate a corn cob and we needed him seen asap. When I tell you this is the best and most compassionate vet’s office I truly mean it. They got us in same day, did a thorough check on him and were able to get him to bring up all the cob pieces. The dr and staff explained everything to me very clearly and were so understanding. They also took my dogs personality into consideration and made lots of steps to make sure he was comfortable and under the least amount of stress possible. “My baby, Moxie, had bladder stones, and one of them was blocking the void of urine. She was hurting really bad. Dr Cody kept her and preformed surgery to remove the stones. He called me just before starting her surgery, and again after he was done. This is the second time that Moxie has had stones removed. Dr Cody was hands down the best experience. Caring and compassionate. The Vet that she went to for her first surgery was not as caring or compassionate, I got no phone calls. I will tell everyone I know, that South Denton Animal Hospital with Dr Cody Bullock is the only place to go!!!!Thank you so much Dr Cody, for taking such good care of my baby.”

“The staff here are incredibly compassionate. We had to put our 4 year old cat down and they were very understanding and made sure that all of our questions were answered before we moved forward with the process. 2 weeks later, we checked the mail and we were blessed to open the sweetest card signed from all of the staff telling us how sweet our girl was and some very sentimental ink paw prints and nose prints. They did an incredible job caring for our animals and US when we were going through a very difficult time. I highly recommend for all vet needs. Cannot thank them enough for all that they have done for us and the compassion they showed us.”
“Love healthy paws and their staff— Dr Heathcock has a wonderful demeanor with our cattle dog and takes the time to explain everything from diet to potential issues. Vet care can be expensive and they always give costs ahead of time and options which is great for everyone. They stayed well past close on a Saturday completing tests on our pup- you can tell very dedicated staff and doctors”
