I used Modern Stoneworks for a kitchen and bathroom counter job in November 2022. There have been several issues along the way that built up to unacceptable service. 1) There was an issue with bad communication between the GC (Countertops, Kitchen and Floors, also in Austin) and Modern Stoneworks. They blamed each other for damage that was done to under cabinet lighting. I heldback the damage from that (around $600 was heldback on a $20k+ job) and, as a result, the company has been rude and unresponsive ever since. Moises, the owner, came to my house to look at the issue and gave great lip service about wanting the customer to be happy and doing the right thing. Since then, he hasn't followed-through on those comments. 2) A few months later, I noticed that they didn't calk all the way around my backsplash. I asked them to come back and fix, whenever they had time, but Moses told me that he was instructed by the GC to not to any more work for me and they give him too much work for him so his loyalty is to them. Not wanting to get into the issues again, I asked if he could simply give me the colour of the calk to match it since he said it probably wasn't a simple white. I have texted 3 times, left 3 message and no response. 3) I installed Dekton, which I was told was indestructible. I dropped a small salad plate and the corner shipped. Dekton said it's an easy fix but Modern Stoneworks (Moises) is refusing to call me back. I am not expecting to have the fix for free but a simple return phone call would be courteous. I have also taken this up with Dekton, since they should know about their suppliers' customer service. I gave it 2 stars because the actual workers were mostly good. The installers were clean, kind and responsible, for which they shouldn't be punished for disrespectful management.

It so sad one one your employers came in to my stor to put gas he was using the company's card to ask him to verify it he got very upset he decided to destroy property inside.. License plates PZN-9499..I guess that how yall run your business...

Todd was amazingly helpful . We will order from and do business with this attractive company because of Todd-an employee who cares and will give you his undivided attention while there . I don't know what you pay him, but I he is invaluable . .

Highly recommend these guys!! We use them on all of our remodels when dealing with quartz or any other stone countertops! The prices are super competitive, the turn around times are awesome, and the customer service is amazing! Ask for Moises if you call! I can promise you he will do an amazing job getting you what you need!

I replaced my granite with lovely white quartz. Moises is wonderful and so are the installers and office staff- easy to work with and they did an excellent job. I am very satisfied with the results! I highly recommend Modern Stoneworks.

I used Moises on several projects. The first two installations were perfect so I hired him a 3rd time. He worked hard to understand cooktop installation instructions, but the stove cutout was not straight, so the cooktop never sat correctly. His installers also did cutting with a circular saw inside the newly remodeled house and got dust everywhere. I had a small tabletop cut from a soapstone remnant they had in the yard and it was also not cut straight.

I've used Modern Stoneworks on three different projects now. Love working with Moises and his team. They're always up for the challenge and willing to work with me when I have a complicated detail that requires patience and attention to detail. They're also quick to respond on estimates and have a variety of countertop options to select from. They've become my go-to team for countertops, I highly recommend them.

Terrible company to deal with. I have called several times and spoke with the owner. Never got back with me. I called the office several times and spoke with his manager and kept giving me the run around and never got back to me. Really shame to have people in business that not willing to do their Job. Thank god I didn't hire them It would been a disaster dealing with these unprofessional people. I 'm happy with the other company that did a great job .

Exactly what I needed!! Moises and his team were great. He worked with me to find a style within my budget, gave me upfront pricing with no hidden charges, and installed the counters as promised. I wish all my remodeling tasks were this easy!! I would absolutely recommend this company. We have a few rental properties in the area and I can say for sure that we will be back to Modern Stoneworks. Thanks again for the great service guys.

I found a beautiful piece of granite at their yard. Moises and his guys cut an ornate custom design vanity top for me and did a wonderful job. Great customer service, very reasonable prices too. Highly recommend.

In my opinion, the most important quality to have as a business owner is integrity- Doing the right thing when no one is looking. This sums up Moises and his crew at Modern Stoneworks. I own Kitch Cabinetry and Design and have been working alongside Moises for 2 years. He does accurate, on time, beautiful work. I would highly recommend MSW.
