i’m a regular customer at Gilfillans and Corsicana Texas I’d like to say the sales staff in the service is always superior another great job they stand behind all of their Steel products and their fast friendly and they always explain exactly what is going on I would like to give a shout out to everyone in the store and say thank you and I highly recommend Gilfillans Hardwear and Corsicana Texas

Don’t come here, discrimination is REAL!I had a young man help me out and he was great!The problem started when I went back to switch out the bolts as I realized that the ones I got were gonna be too big. I was putting the bolts back in their proper place as the manager Roy asked if I needed help. I said I was just putting back the bolts back in their proper place as I will be exchanging them for smaller ones and less than 5 seconds later another employee approaches me asking if I need help.I told her no thank you I am okay, and I said what’s the issue why the frequent check ups are they accusing me of shoplifting the manager conveniently was in the next aisle in front of me and said it’s what we do! We provide great customer service!What! By discriminating against your customer.I continued my shopping and got the bolts I needed. As I was in the checkout one of the wheels I purchased rung up a different price($24.99). I went back to see if I can find the pair that cost $21.99 but I found the pair of the 24.99 in it’s place, Roy approached me and say that’s all the have and I stated that since there is no appropriate place that they should honor the $21.99. He insisted and said they they were misplaced and asked him to show me the correct area where the $24.99 are at and he then proceeded to say they the price has not been updated. So I told him that since there is no label for the 24.99 they should honor the 21.99 but he said I would have but because the way I acted he wasn’t doing me any favors.I told my wife that was with our children in the cashier area to drop everything and leave the store as we were being discriminated against and not to support such business. Cashier stated that they were getting ready to close and possibly that’s the reason I was approached the way I was.Still doesn’t justify the way a customer is treated.You informed the customer that there is 10 min until they close.I asked the cashier for the corporate number but informed me that it’s a family owned business. I then asked for managers name and she was hesitant until he approached the area again and he stated his name which is Roy.As we were leaving he screamed “Blow us up!”I proceeded to walk to my vehicle.Sadly this manager let his ego get the best of him. I just fear that his employees aren’t being treated fairly. If any employee is reading this I suggest you reach out to the U.S. Department of Labor.I will be filing a complaint with the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice.

Horrible first experienceEverything was going fine until the end when we were almost ready to go my husband realized the bolts were too long. The manager Roy came and asked if he needed help we said no thank you they helped us already. He kept looking at what we where doing after 5 seconds later another employee comes asked if we needed something at this point I get there doing there job but we felt like they where keeping a close eye on us like if we where gonna steal something my husband told the lady no thank you I’ve been helped 2 people asking back to back are we stealing something or what is the problem with multiple employees approaching us back to back. Then he went to get in line to pay ahead of me I still had the cart as I was walking I told my kids to leave some hats they wanted us to buy them I noticed the manger Roy kept stalking me and my kids honestly at this point I felt like he was harassing me and my kids he kept he's eye on me and my kids until we went to the cashier for a family owned business they sure don’t treat you like family.

What is there to say ? Nothing but good !! Whatever the project is they will help you get what you need and give good advice. Not like a big box store ! They actually care and want your job you’re working on to be a success. I try and buy everything here to support small businesses. You could not ask for a better place ! Good people with a good attitude!

I’m a long ways from home recently moved down to Texas … stumbled across this hardware store I was looking for a screw for a Chinese little 110cc atv … hoping for the bestRoy helped me out knew the store got me the screws I needed in a matter of seconds “don’t worry about it”THEY HAD ITThen as I was walking out I remembered I needed to touch up my bathroom room. Another service rep guy Jessy real knowledgeable of the store guided me to exactly what I needed.Explained to me how to use the materialsI’m happy the wife’s happy man the kiddo is happy man this a real small town got it all hardware store 110% customer service definitely will be back thank you guys again for the time and all the help

I bought my Stihl weed eater from here and tried to use them over Home Depot to support small business. I will now no longer go into the store. I went in with questions on my weedeater repair and was treated poorly and disrespectfully! I was going to buy whatever parts I need from them but was given ZERO trouble shooting advice and treated as a bother and stupid. I went to small engine service in Beaton and was help and treated fantastic! Do not go to Gilifillans! They paint department is rude too!

Great customer service! Every one I dealt with on my MANY trips in for paint samples was helpful and knowledgeable. They worked with me until I found just what I needed for the job I was doing.
